A big storm is hitting Southern Cali. (Where I live) On Wednesday and we're gonna get pounded!!  I hate power outs cause in our house it gets so dark I cant see anything even if I set my fingers on my face and look eyes-wide at my hand... So this is really gonna SUCK!! |

Yeah, I live in SoCal too. I thought the storm was gonna start Thursday, not Wednesday?

Stock up on Candles, lighters for the candles, flashlights, and batteries for the flashligts.
And get your hands on a gameboy advance SP or a DS cause they provide light and something to do.

I suggest have your cars in in case of hail. Be ready to unplug appliances to prevent lightning striking and getting to them to break them. Also get candles and torches to prepare for a black out.
At least you have decent warning of a storm and can prepare.

Like everyone else said stock up on flashlights, candles, and a battery power tv. I hope you stay safe in Missouri we always have terrible storms.
