Hey guys, just wanted to show you all a new film that my friend and I made. So please, try not to leave any stupid comments like tHAt SuCKeD!... If you think it is bad, tell me/us what we can improve on.  Now onto the short... (The phone scene messed up so just ignore that lol; the first minute is kinda boring, but trust me it gets better. Just hang in there) Rate Hate If you dont like it, just tell me what we should improve on. Thanks Guys. * Check out the blooper vid.. The end is Priceless!!! |

First off, in the beginning the side of the blanket shown is Buzz Lightyear, then in the next shot its Woody.
Secondly, I'm sorry it seems like you guys tried to memorize the script 20 seconds before you shot this, it just does not feel natural.
Lastly, some slight editing problems, but that can be tricky for anyone.
I'm not trying to be a dick, just giving a little bit of constructive criticism.

Lmao this was great man. Like honestly Rant Casey he's 15 like he said so your being a little critical he was just making a video to make some people laugh in which he did (I howled during the transsexual part and when he slaps the "chick" in the face at the end was amazing. I just loved how it seemed cheesy when drake dressed up as the girl in which he looked hysterical. TBH man keep this crapup it was priceless. Overall great job.

good dialogue.
good character chemistry...
just work on camera and how you handle it and editing.
good job for a home made film though =]

Ha. That was cool. I do actual enjoyed to watch short film that made by unprofessional film people. I do remember The Animals (WF Member) was make his own film as well, but he start fade out from WF latest.
P.S are you going making another one?

Ha. That was cool. I do actual enjoyed to watch short film that made by unprofessional film people. Ha pretty good man. One thing I recommend, which I was taught to do as well. Don't have the same shot running for more then 5 seconds. Such as the scene in beginning where it's a shot of a slightly opened door. It's a well made movie. Can't wait to see more. Also, I don't mean to Hi-Jack your topic or anything but I have some movies I made on my YouTube account if anyone's interested. Also to the thread starter, maybe you can use theme as a reference, since I was assisted by a professional film editor. They're pretty amateur though. Yeah I got a few videos I have made but yeah you should buy a tripod that would really help in the quality of your videos too. Yea I have a tripod but it only goes up to like 2 and a half feet. I want one of those tall ones but those cost like 50-70 bucks. I dont have alot of money lol |
