Yup, most police in UK like as that, sadly. That why loads of young people get trouble with police over small thing. Police just want arrested them and try make their Chief Exclusive or Sergeant well done to them for making a lots of arrested. I am not surprise.
Anyway, once police was stop me while I was drive in the car. I told him I am Deaf when he tried to speak to me. He say my back light was broken. So I asked him if it’s OK that he press the foot brake so I can have look it myself, and he say no. Then I told him I take it to garage. Then later of those. When I back to home, my mum have look, but the light was worked fine. He obviously lying., I do feel he want to asked me for ID card, Insurance, etc which lead try make arrested me, but I got ID card, insurance, road tax, everything; so he realise I am Deaf, and he must be can’t be arse to speak to me lots. So he use back light failure as his excuse.
All police attitude was terrible latest, in my opinion, they all suppose help to people and community, but they aren‘t.

I don't mean any disrespect but isnt it illegal to drive if you're deaf? Like what if theres an emergency and you cannot hear the siren or something? Or do you have a hearing aid which allows you to hear slightly? Not trying to cause offense i'm just curious.

At day time it'd be harder to see the lights and if theres traffic you wouldnt see them at all. But meh i was just curious.

However it is as surprising as it is is illegal for blind people to drive.

Blind People shouldnt be driving at all as they can't see the road and will cause an accident. A deaf person could see where they were going and stuff but if they were told to pull over by the police and kept going they'd probably get in alot of trouble.
