I just got an external hard drive and I'm pretty dumb when it comes to technology so I was wondering if any of you smart chaps would be able to help me out.
I'm trying to clear space up on my computer by moving all my music onto the hard drive but once I delete the music the sync deletes it on the external hard drive. How could I fix this?
Nonstop karma for anyone who can give me helpful advice.

You basically just cut all the music from your C: drive and paste it into your (I'm assuming) F: drive (which would be your external)
At least that's what I do/did.

You just have to copy/paste all your files over, like normal, but first, disable the "sync" feature. That should do it.  |

I got a question about External Hard Drives: if you put stuff on the external, it won't be on the regular hard drive, right? (thus, i can put porn on the External w/out having to worry about people finding it on my regular?)

Hey, the best reason to get an external is to hide your porno. I'd be lying if f I said anything other than the main purpose my various memory cards for my computer not all that long ago was to hide nude flicks.
