I turned 15 1/2 on New Years Day, so yeah.. today I went and got my permit, and I am happy. Cause now I can like drive. . .Does anyone have any funny/sad/horrible driving stories about when you had your permit?

Ah man got My Permit on The 26th of December! Im in drivers ed right now. tHE test was pretty easy

i got it almost 3 years ago, but didnt get my senior liscnese till like a year and a half ago. thats my only interesting permit-related story.

i just got my permit like 2 months ago, my bum ass just waitted to long, and its gonna be th same way until i get my liscense.

they day I got my permit it was pouring raining, the day of my road test it was pouring raining. So I had a difficult day(s).

I almost got shot, The first time i got pulled over, my window was broken and couldn't go down, the cop told me to open the window and i opened the door he went for his gun and i yelled DON'T SHOOT ME MY WINDOW CANT OPEN!!
My brother got his permit yesterday

I have my permit also, but I had to wait until I was 16 since I dont exactly live in Ohio, I live right across the river in Ky.

I got my permit in the winter last year. First day our I experienced my first snow spin, I lost control like a mile down the road at a busy intersection and did a 360ish in the middle of it. Luckily it was at 6AM, so there was only like 1 car.
About 2 months ago I got pulled over for speeding. I didn't get ticketed as they can't take radar in the City. I was going probably 30-40 over the speed limit.

well i got one about my friend...
she was driving down the road and she was going like 90 km/h and there was a truck comming at her and she took both hands off the wheel and covered her eyes. lol i think its really funny
o and i just thought of one about me
i was going like 100 km/h driving home with my mom cuz she had to use the bathroom. i was laughing the whole way home...cuz my mom kept swearing and telling me to drive faster and my dad was behind our car the whole time..
me and my mom was in our 96 station wagon and my dad and 2 sisters were in the van..
i think its pretty funny

I'm an amazing driver...I'm going on seven years this year as a licensed driver. No traffic violations, no at-fault accident, and to that end, only one not-at-fault accident in which some crippled lady didn't check her mirrors and backed into my stopped car in a parking lot.
However, my insurance premium is through the roof, since I'm a male driver under 25.

New law in Ontario(not sure if it's Canada wide). It's called the Street-Racing act, or part of the Highway Traffic Act. I think if you're caught 50 or more over the speed limit, you're charged under this new law. Fines of $2000 and over, license revked(or suspended) and arrested. |

If your caught street racing (not just excessive speeding but street racing) its an automatic 1-2 year ban on your license..... I feel old, people are just getting their permit and ive been driving for 10 years now |

I got my Junior's license like a year ago. Within that 1 year time range taht I've had it, I've gotten it suspended once and I've gotten 2 tickets... I must suck at driving  and no, I'm not asian, I'm hispanic |

I got mine 6 years ago, in November 2001.  It's helluva fun at times, but will get old quickly. |
