Yeah, we are getting a bichon frise terrier cross tomorrow. I believe she is about 8 months old. Her name is Molly. From what my father tells me, this pic must be few months old, as she is bigger than that now. so...who here has dogs? Actually, we have two cats, what's the best way to introduce them to each other?

*RKOs you* ...In a friendly way.
Two dogs, one cat. Sadly, we had an awesome Siberian Husky that passed away. I remember her as a puppy, though. Could hold her like a baby.

When i lived at my grandmothers house, she had two cats. When she got her dog (a chocolate lab) she just let them get to know each other by letting them meet when they wanted to. This could work two ways. You could come home and find cats sitting with the dog, or chewed up balls of fur on the floor, and a happy dog. My grandmother's cats got along fine with the dog.

This is my little boy, Spike. He came from the animal shelter, when I got him he was VERY sick, took him to the vet and they said he had distemper, he was barely one year old. I'm happy to say I took damn good care of him, and he's fine now. He had 48 hours to live when they diagnosed him, and that was just a little under a year ago. Love this dog! EDIT: I have a dachsund. It is really playful and nice to everyone. Hell yeah! Glad to see another member has a dachshund, best dogs ever!

2 pugs and a long haired chihuahua. One of the pugs is blind and has diabettes. But he wasn't blind his whole life, so he knows his way around and stuff, and the other pug had a metabolic disorder so she didnt burn her food right, so she got fat, and she fell down iccy stairs once comming inside, so she has a bad back injury, which sucks. But we're gonna get this stuff that you put in her water to fix her

When we got our new dog, we let them meet on neutral ground, so neither acts territorial towards each other. Try letting them meet at a park maybe.

Very nice. I love my dog, he's the best. I never call him by his real name though. We got him when he was a year or so old from the people who lived behind us because they were getting rid of him. They had 8 dogs and named all of them Buddy. Yes, really. I hate that name, it's the most common dog name there is. So I call him a number of things, and he responds to them because he knows when I'm talking to him. Been calling him Babalu (after the fighter) or Bigelow lately, its funny.

Well, heres my Bassador (Lab/Basset). Shes 9 months old now. This is the strangest dog that I have ever owned. She's great but for some reason I think that the breeds conflict somehow. It was a breeding accident. The people owned a pair of Bassets and a male Lab. They thought that they were expecting Bassets. Wrong....Needless to say the Lab is now neutered. I have an English Bulldog on hold right now (just born Thursday). I had a choice between a Neo Mastiff and the Bulldog. The Neo is just too much work for now. Heres a few pics of Chloe.
