I grew my hair out a few years ago. I had an Orton-like cut and just let it grow out. It took about a year to get to shoulder length. Just make sure to keep it combed and washed.

So, if I don't comb it everyday it might grow out wrong? I sure as hell don't comb or brush by hair, but I do use gel. I might stop using gel, since my bangs cover like 3\4 of my forehead. I shampoo with anti-dandruff shampoo everyday but I don't condition my hair.

If you shampoo and not contdion your hair will be like hair on horses arse. I'm telling you, follow my steps on page one, and you'll be good.

i used to wear my hair longer all the time... i have really thick, curly hair too so it kinda just curled up into a little afro... jew fro, actually... i keep it buzzed now... all usually about 1/4", same as my sideburns. nice clean look. but to answer your question...
you can try all sorts of things to help your hair, but hair just grows at different rates for people... just don't cut it for awhile and keep taking care of it, it should grow out. if not, you're probably going bald, like i eventually will be by the time i'm 21 if i'm like my father and all his brothers.

I used to have my hair Randy Orton-esque, not because of him, I can't stand him, but that's the way I had it.
Now it's a little longer, looks great with gel.
