dude, i feel your pain, i've been seeing docs for the past three months now because i had the exact same problem. i would wake up during the night at about 2 or 3 am and the pain is so intense that a couple of times i just made myself sick because that seemed to ease the pain, but one night it didnt go away and i was up all night with a really intense pain in my stomach almost like a chainsaw was slicing my insides up. it was misdiagnosed twice as an ulcer and gouldstones and they now are running on the theory that i had acute Hep. i am still having to take regular blood tests to make sure the problem is cleared up. hope you feel better and u don't have a similar problem dude, be well.

Whenever I go to a buffet I wake up later that night with those pains, the worst part is that I can't go to the bathroom, I always try but nothing comes out no matter how hard I strain. It sucks.
