Congrats man. I played a lot of slots my first night in Vegas & swore off them after not winning a single freaking credit after a few hours of playing. I was down $300+ my first night alone but over the next 4 days I recovered & almost broke even. My parents actually mentioned to me today they are wanting to go back to Vegas in the spring, so I guess I better start saving.

I played the craps at Mohegan when I was living in Connecticut. I usually took about 60 to the casino with me. Played 40 at the table. Most I ever won in a day was around $3,000.

A lot of my friends always ask me why I risk a 'habit'- but truth be told, I've never taken in a big sum of money to lose, and I leave my wallet and debit card at home so I'm not ever tempted to go to the ATM....it IS a shitty feeling if you're not doing hot on a machine, and some bastard sits down and hits a good sum. That's happened to me pretty often. |
