After hearing of it for the first time yesterday in the Heath Ledger discussion, I looked more into what Westboro Baptist Church is. Those people are completely  ing nuts! For a group that surrounds their life by the works of the bible, they sure demonstrate a lot of hate. They go against love thy neighbor, and are for killing of Americans, especially US soldiers. What do you guys think about the Phelps? |

I have a good friend who is a part of a group of motorcycle riders that go to military funerals and form a wall of people and noise to keep the families from seeing or hearing the Westboro loonies when they go to protest.

If anyone is curious, Shirley Phelps is calling into the Adam Carolla show this morning. You can't write comedy that good.

Thank him for me. I will. It's a very cool thing they do. It's one thing to protest a war, but to protest a soldier's funeral is just despicable. Because of his affiliation with them, they sent an honor guard escort to his grandfather's funeral a few weeks ago. It was very moving and a classy gesture. About 50 motorcycle riders showed up to provide escort, and pay their respects. Many of them are veterans, which his grandfather was a fighter pilot in WWII. |

I hate those c*nts. If the Phelps came over here, they would be imprisoned for hate crimes, but no, the stupid US calls that freedom of opinion.
Why doesn't your friend just knock her flying with his motorcycle?
I would happily go to prison for killing the Fred and Shirley Phelps, definitely would be worth it.

I hope they hold the door open for me when they get to hell.
But then again, since I support gays and soldiers, they will probably protest me entering hell.
Yet they will be the ones at the loser table losing games of chess to Bobby Fischer and I will be eating the tuesday surprise at the cool table with Chris Benoit and Frank Sinatra.
