Is there any family alive that stretches from great great great grandmother/father to grandson/daughter?

It is possible but I am not aware of it. I dont have the EXTENDED knowledge to know whether or not there is an existing case of that.

I had a great great grandmother still alive and kicking up until about 3 yrs ago.

I had a great great grandmother still alive and kicking up until about 3 yrs ago. I have one, currently alive. I'm just curious to see if anyone ever made it to Great, Great, Great. Guinness book of records website doesn't help at all.

I think somewhere along the family tree somebody would have to give birth at about the age of 12 for that to occur.

I do meet my Grand Grandmother, and she died when I was 8 years old or so. And I never meet her mother (My nan's grandmother)
