If you read my last thread, I stated we won the regionals & move onto the state tournament. We played Saturday against good team & won!( First team to ever do this for my school!) One of their shooter dislocated their finger in the first 30 seconds of the game. Well Tonight we played against a very good team. The team that beat us last year badly at the state tournament about 30 points ahead. We played well, but just didn't rebound & such as great. The final score was I think 54 - 44. We were pretty bummed out, some more than others. When we arrived back in town we had a firetruck escort us through town it was great. All I can say this was a great experience & that we were one of the top eight teams in Southern Illinois & top 16 in Illinois for our division.

Congratulations on being in the top eight although it is worrying to see you cannot exactly remember the final score.  |

Why a fire truck escort? Do you not have police? I'm not for sure why it was the fire truck, we do have police officers. |

That's pretty cool. Last year (and this year) I was on my school's mock trial team. We won the regional championship. We also won the state championship. Heck, we won the National Championship!
