iMPACT's not gonna destroy Midway dude... Midway is destorying iMPACT (as far as the game's future goes). It's a little bit of both. Midway has been losing money for a while, and they were hoping to make money off of TNA. However, iMPACT! is only putting them deeper in the financial hole. |

They didn't even get "respectable" game numbers, if they did I doubt Midway would care if they sold even close to Raw V SD

I downloaded the iMPACT! DLC today, hoping to get some more out of my game because I haven't played it in a while and to my shock and disbelief; the DLC seems to be really poorly done. I opted to play my first match as Petey Williams, so I go up against Alex Shelley; but what's this? AJ Styles is making his entrance... Hopefully it's a glitch and when we get to the match, Williams will be there; but wait it's SENSHI. - He has Williams name and moves, but it is Senshi in the ring. I hope that it's again, just a glitch.
My second match is as Curry Man, who makes his entrance as Christopher Daniels; I'd love to think that's just an in-joke; but by this point I'm annoyed that I've seemingly purchased unfinished content. At-least he LOOKED like Curry Man when we got to the match portion of the game - but what a shock he DOESN'T have Curry Man's signature moves and still uses the Angels Wings as a finisher. Has anybody else had these problems with the DLC? - and anybody looking to by them, I'd leave it a day or two, considering that if this is a widespread thing; it could be getting some fixes.
for anyone wondering though, Mike Tenay is fine.

How do I demand a refund? That's just unacceptable.

Luckily I didn't download petey but I downloaded Curryman, entrance and moves dont particularly bother me that much, I woullda been pissed if I had wanted williams though.

All the whining about DLC and it turns out not even being worth it. I'm sorry I even anticipated DLC from them in the first place.
Maffew should do an 1 hour Botchamania special on TNA iMPACT: The Video Game.

This hurts TNA's rep even more by this happening. It's a shame because I prefer the gameplay to anything I've played in the last 10 years. They got that right at least. I hope they make another one to get it right. If I could have TNA's gameplay with Smackdown's features I'd have the perfect game.

i don't know how it will hurt TNA's rep more, but it sure as hell will damage Midway's further...
I was really looking forward to Petey/Curry today too, I went ahead and downloaded Curry Man and he looks great, it's just the moveset and enterance are a little annoying. There is no excuse for Petey though...

Well it's 500 points for £4.25 on the Marketplace. I'm new to X-Box, so I'm not sure if you can buy 100 points as a single thing.

Apparently somebody on another forum has contacted Midway and they're aware of the glitchy DLC. - Those who have downloaded it will not have to buy them again, just download the eventual update. - He was told that "Midway are normally quite fast at fixing these things" - so now it's just a matter of waiting.
On another note;
You can't use the DLC online.
