Just got done playing story mode. I found that simply getting moves that can't be reversed will subside any frustrations. From my moveset, I found that the jawbreaker, arm drag, and clothesline from grapple will mess up the AI opponent. I rotate these moves and do a basement dropkick from strong grapple whenever my iMPACT! meter doesn't fill. Beware, however. When your opponent's body meter goes orange, it'll begin going after the chairs at ringside. Try to dodge those and you'll be able to pin him in no time. I hope this helps.

Just finished the season now. I developed a stragegy that made it easy. Just punch them no stop until there in the orange once there in the orange hit a few grapple moves to get your impact meter up then hit your finisher and pin them. Works everytime all you need is to keep puncing no other moves.

I just bought the game, and lost the first match I played in Story. I like the game, but it's a little frustrating at times, especially seeing as how the whole game is new to me haha.

Controls are amazing and the reversal system is the best I've seen. You've really got to get your timing right, but it can save you in a match when you are getting destroyed. It took me about 5 or so matches to get the hang of it.

In my opinion, if the game comes out yearly, people will complain about having an updated version just like the SmackDown! series.

Rented the game over the weekend. Not a bad game. Wasn't expecting much and that's what I got. The lack of moves and repetitiveness is lame. I hate having to wiggle the joystick to kick out of a pin. The game feels like an arcade port. Which is still fun to play but only for a short time. For me anyway. Story mode was kinda fun. It took me a while to beat Jarret using mainly the sunset flip into a ddt and belly to belly suplex to get him to red. Bastard kicks you about 5 times and he gets his Impact bar full.

Well I just got the game recently and I love it. The graphics are top notch, the moves are ok, the reversal system is great, and I love the ultimate X. The downside to the game is the level on difficulty. It seems like your playing the hardest there is on easy. But it kinda makes it more fun in a way. Because its more challening that way.
