is there any differences in the Wii version to the ps2 version besides the controls. Like wii version of svr09 has the thumbtacks. Does the wii version have anythin different that ps2 doesn't like characters that you can unlock like don west, mike tenay, afro thunder. I don't think you can unlock them in the ps2 version. How is the wii version.

 I'm sorry boys & girls. I've been a wrestling game player since the ancient days of; "Tecmo Pro-Wrestling," "Tag-Team Wrestling," & "Mat Mania". On through; "Wrestle War," "Saturday Night Slam-Masters," & all of the Acclaim "WWF" games for the SNES. "TNA; Impact"  Failed UTTERLY to come ANYWHERE close to doing that!!! I'm a TNA nut! I bought the game the day it came out!!! I had a copy reserved!!! And after about 24hrs. of playing it??? I am absolutely ashamed that Jarrett, & Dixie Carter signed off on this steaming pile of monkey slop!!! If... "IF" TNA truly wants to enter into the video-game market??? Than they need to S-Can Midway. Who, have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are clueless when it comes to producing a Wrestling game that even APPROACHES coming close to being a "complete" game! Than, TNA should try their collective a$$ez off to land a contract with EA. Who virtually OWNS the sports video-game market. And, the last that I checked... currently have the rights to the old "AKI engine." Which, powered such classics as; "WCW/nWo; World Tour," "WCW/nWo; Revenge," "Virtual Pro-Wrestling #'s 1, & 2," "WWF; Wrestlemania 2000," & "WWF; No Mercy." This engine could EASILY, be used as a foundation to build a game that would stomp the "THQ/Yukes/WWE" games. Than, make sure that the game is as deep in it's "Story Mode," it's "Match Type Options," & it's "Create A Character mode." as humanly possible. The "Fire Pro" series in and of itself, is not THAT awesome a series. But, what it DOES have, was done so well. That THOUSANDS love it to death!!! TNA, take heed of Atari & "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial"!!! Just slappin' yer licience on a hunk of crap in a box will come back to bite you in your butts!!!

Sully. give it time. i think a lot of us, me included, were quick to pass judgement on this game, when in all actuality, for a first try, it's pretty rad.

He's available as DLC. - DLC is only available for the 360 though.

So is a second one coming out and when if so? Nothing has been confirmed, but it doesn't look likely now that Midway has gone bust. - If TNA manages to get themselves another developer there will probably be a follow up game; but I doubt it'll be out before the end of 2010. |

Midway is working on it but I don't see the game coming out by them. If someone else buys the rights to it then we may get it. I know Midway wants the game done soon so they can list it asn asset incase they go under.
