If 24/7 is no good, is this game worth the buy? Will it last atleast a few months?

I'd say its definately worth the buy, as I'm enjoying it tremendously, although; if you're not certain you're going to enjoy it - & with 24/7 being a letdown, I'd say wait until the price has slipped. If you're like me and must have all smackdown games asap. then get it, you'll enjoy it.

But GM was not really updated and I gues 24/7 sucks... Maybe Online will kick ass though... Also, I heard they took out Create a PPV? Is this true? |

Yep, no Create a PPV. Tournament modes make up for it though.

While 24/7 mode sucks I have enjoyed the exhibition matches I have had. I just think I will get board of this years games faster than I have the past SD games. I would still say pick it up if your a wrestling fan.
The Wii version is great I am really enjoying it. The season mode is much much better than 24/7 you can issue open challenges and **** like that. Also you can play as who you want. the lack of game modes may hurt this game in the long run but at the moment I would go as far to say I prefer the Wii version over the 360 its just more fun to play. hell even my girlfriend has had a go. I think this game could be huge on the Wii due to the multi player.
I want to add I am not biased towards any one system I am a fan of video games not of any one particular system ( I have all 3). So there is no bias in my oppinions in case people may have though I was a nintendo fan boy or something lol.

Gawd i got the 360 version today and damn the only reason im typing this now cause i need a break ive played it that much! AMAZING!

well 1 problem my first 24/7 match was against helms i won it and at the end it shown helms cheering on the turnbuckle with michael cole saying "wow a great victory for gregory helms" i was like what and it went down saying i won it!
Gm mode is flawless, gameplay is flawless season mode could have better cut scenes as all i have seen is my dude looking in the womens locker 3 times teddy arguing with me infront of mcmahon and grisham twice and me walking down the locker room disrespecting superstars twice
Entrances much better and WWE Shop is awesome maybe just a little hard to win

Just a note; regarding Jeff Hardy.
You can either have Whisper in the wind as a finisher, or not at all. It isn't a normal corner grapple.

This Years Inductee - Play GM in 24/7 mode and obtain the "GM of the Year" Award (350)
Stand on a ladder and suplex your opponent out of the ring in a ladder match. - 20 gamerscore
Send'em back to Louisville: Lose to an opponent who has more limb damage than you. - I don 't know the gamerscore.
Lose 5 Consecutive Ranked Online Matches. I don't know the Gamerscore
You've got some Guts: Complete a ranked match online I don't know the GS.
"Better Luck Next Year" - Be first man eliminated in 30 man royal rumble. I don't know the GS.
Escape Artist - Wiggle free from every utimate control grapple at least once 20gs.

I played for a few hours earlier but then had to go to work. Just got back and going to load up the game again.
To me, it's an addictive game that I can't really put down. Custom Entrance Themes helps xD

I don't know, but it should be obvious. Guys like Carlito, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Gregory Helms, Chavo Guerrero etc. Maybe Ric Flair, he seemed to have been able to challenge for it in the past, same with Shawn Michaels, I've turned the game off for tonight, had enough. I'll list em all for you tomorrow though.  |
