I like playing online with my friends, but whenever I play with random people for an extended period of time my XBL feedback drops by 10%. I don't hop online too much any more.

I don't Play ranked matches anymore, Too many cheap people. I'm just in it for the fun then you may as well play ranked ones and just have the attitude thats for fun, but the fact that its keeping your record can't hurt, even if you look at only once in a while. I think non ranked matchs are pointless any way you look at it.

Except when the people who play in ranked games are the ones that will use the same three moves over and over, thereby removing your fun, then it makes ranked matches pointless.

I couldn't be bothered to play online for all the reasons mentioned in this thread.
Playing live with friends is much more intense

Online play is definitely iffy. For me, like with watching real wrestling, I enjoy to watch a true contest. Both competitors as even as possible truly wrestling, countering and doing a good, tough match. A lot of people online just either whack the crapout of you w/ weapons are are douche bags to you. I have no problem losing. My favorite online match was one I lost. I was CM Punk against someone as Nitro. It was close, a long bout with a lot of reversals, finishers, close falls and I ended up losing, but it was an amazing fun match. ... But then I played a match as Batista v.s. Taker, extreme. The beginning of the match I kicked ass, pulling off tons of moves. Then my opponent crawls out, gets a bell and someone cornered me and whacked me to death with the bell until I was all red and pinned me. It was pathetic. Thats why if I do play online I do normal, standard matches because then it has less a chance of being cheap and people dont just smash you with weapons in the corner until your dead.

Being cheap doesn't even bother me too much anymore, I've learned to counter most cheapness, what is still annoying me is the whole disconnecting thing, I guess it's a glitch in the system, but it's really BS. Personally I think anyone who disconnects to they don't lose is really sad. Your record means nothing if it's not your record. Sure I want a good record, but I actually want a good record, not one where I cheat. To me, it's not fun unless it's far.
