You might want to put in the main post that Create-A-Finisher is confirmed.

The trailer looks amazing. I'm really glad that they're fixing the tag match--it's been the same for pretty much all other nine games in the SmackDown! Series. I hate how it seems like they're only paying attention to one match type a year, now. The Create-a-Finisher Mode should be awesome. I'm not going to have too high of expectations for it, but it should be fun either way. There are so many moves I'd love to try and create, whether they be from other wrestlers or ones I've thought up of on my own. The graphics look better than ever, as usual. The crowd really looks great, so I really hope they make them more alive than they've been in past games. The character models look awesome, as well. I really like the hair they decided to give Orton--that's my favorite look of his. Cena, Undertaker, Kennedy and Matt all look the same as they have in the past years, with the exception of 'Taker's, Kennedy's and Cena's attires. I really hope they change Matt somehow, as I really don't want him to look exactly the same for three years in a row. Jeff Hardy looks great this year. They did a great job on him last year, and an even better one on him this year. I'm really surprised that they'd show Chris Jericho off so early, but I'm glad they did, because his character model looks amazing. The only thing that looks off is the overly toned chest--but that's to be expected in these games.
And, for once, in the ten games of its existence, Shannon Moore might finally make it into a SmackDown! game.
I'm really glad to hear that they're reworked the game's entire AI, as that's something that's needed to be done for far too long. And hearing about the way they're going to be doing it--in their Undertaker example--makes it sound even better. The Tag Team co-op career sounds really cool. Hopefully you can do it with one player as the computer, too. It sucks how the game's still going to be on the PS2, since that can only limit how much can be done with the XBOX 360 and PS3 versions. It's nice to hear that they're working on the loading times. I never realized how long they actually were until I was playing the first SmackDown! vs. RAW and noticed how quickly it loaded. I went back to play 08 and it takes so long to load that I thought it froze. As usual, the news has got me really excited for this game. I really hope they pull through this year, and bring us a game that we can enjoy throughout the year, until the next one's release.

Yeah OVE I hope Shannon & Yang make it in, I mostly want Moore to make it in. Also hopefully L & K, C & M, D & D and Jess & Festus make it in

IGN: Also real quick, too, I know last year on the core SKU, there was a little set of differences between PS3 and 360 -- namely that 360 could import its own music and then PS3 had the first-person mode. Are we going to see more of a crossover there? Are PS3 people going to be able to take music off their hard drives this year?Ledesma: Yes, we are planning on the ability to rip music for the PS3 and offer that for created entrances. That option will be available. The reason that it we didn't do it last year was simply because the Sony libraries weren't ready for us to do it. It wasn't because we have something against the PS3 owners or being selfish for the Xbox owners. It was just simply a matter of not being able to do it. So, this year, we're really excited that those libraries are available and able to offer that feature. YEAH!

The best part about the custom soundtracks is being able to create an Apollo Creed CAW and have him come out to Living In America

Yeah I agree, the game looks good so far but we have barley seen anything. I really hope they are not just improving the tag match. They need to improve alot, not one match at a time like last year with ECW Extreme Rules match.

Well, with the recoding of AI, it seems like they're more trying to improve OVERALL gameplay, as well as tag matches.

Yeah, forgot about the AI being re-done. I am wondering what legends will be in the game, tbh. We all know the usual Rock, Austin, Foley, and Hart will be in. I hope Razor Ramon , maybe Yoko, LOD, Hart Foundation, Demolition, Bulldog/Owen...

They probably won't. I can't really say I ever play those anyway--and that's probably why. It's not that big of a deal, though. At least not to me.

HIAC, Table Matches, and Royal Rumble NEED to be fixed.
What ever happened to special referee, I quit, street fights, Bar Room Brawl, and 3 Stages of Hell matches?
Atleast S.Referee, Bar Brawl and 3-stages of hell should have been added.

Yet.. I bet they wont touch HIAC AGAIN! I would just like for them to put the door where it is supposed to be, facing the stage, and make it wider around the ring. I honestly don't want that new crappy cell, because then we probably wont be able to climb it.

Sorry to double post, but good point. I loved 3 Stages of Hell. And I Quit would be a GREAT addition. I was never a fan of Special Referee, mainly because the wrestler you chose as ref was still in their wrestling attire. It was just a pet peeve of mine.

They don't really do any 3 Stages of Hell matches anymore. It's the same as the King of the Ring--if they're not actually doing them, why put them in the game? I think they need to bring back I Quit matches, though.

The game sounds top notch already, IMO. I'll buy this game, due to me buying every Smackdown! game. I can't believe it's coming back out on the PS2. The trailer is fantastic, looks great. The co-op should be good, hopefully they make tag matches more enjoyable. BTW, you should add Summerslam to confirmed arenas.

I'd love to see them add custom titiantron videos. For example, if I have a GTAIV trailer saved on my Ps3 hardrive, I could use it for my entrance video.
