I want one feature in this game: The ability to play as a special referee so I can screw people out of matches. This was my fav part of the old ps smackdown games.

Yeah, Special Ref was awesome. Especially when you are reffing a match between two of your friends and you just clothesline (or whatever) one of them out of nowhere. The reaction is priceless.

Yeah being a special ref when your friends are in the game is funny as hell. I alwys wished that when you went to pin someone when you were about to hit the mat for number 3 that you could just flip of the guy who is about to win instead.

They got so lazy with Special Guest Referee in the end, it means nothing if the superstar thats the ref isn't in a referee shirt.

As my server has been really bad lately, can someone tell me what is actually confirmed so far for this game? - Tag Team overhaul (Hot tags). - Create-A-Finisher. - "Larger Roster". - New out of the ring camera. - "AI Overhaul". - Downloadable Content. Sweet, I didn't know this either since I haven't been following the news. Thanks |

I wouldn't mind having the option to change the charicter selection background on the wrestlers, say if a Raw guy suddenly ends up on Smackdown, I could easily just change it in the game. Wouldn't change the game at all really, just something that would add to it. Maybe even with the DLC, an update where it updates what show each wrestler is on if it changes after Christmas-ish.

I just hope that with all the focus on the tag team matches this year they work on the basics as tag matches not just in the SD series but in wrestling games in general boil my piss mainly because your partners AI is always dumb as  . So far to me it looks like all they are doing is working on all teh flash and I hope we don't just end up with the same old crap but being honest I refuse to buy into any THQ pr bull crapthis year as they pretty much feed us a load of crap about how it will be the best SD game ever, Even though we have yet to see a sing pic I am far more interested in the Legends game. The main reason for my lack of interest in the SD game this year is because of the focus in tag matches. |

The only reason I ever went online in 2006/2007 was to be a ref in peoples matches. It's much more enjoyable to control the outcome of a 99 overall tatooed goth CAW match.

I forget which game it was, but you could pick who was in season mode, and choose heel or face. It was probably HCTP because that game had everything. But I want it back.

You could also pick their roster. I want that thing back, that, or Shut Your Mouth's season, where you could walk in the arena, and out of it, you could talk to wrestlers and play when you wanted. |

'shut your mouth' was better than 'here comes the pain', in my opinion.
i just found myself lost in the season mode of SYM. i'd play for like 4 or 5 hours and not even realize it. i played as the rock for about 4 years in my season.

Agreed. Shut Your Mouth was my favorite game storyline and feature wise.
