I just got this game (I know, pretty late). I must say the gameplay itself is really good. I think it's maybe the best it has ever been. OR at least since 06, or maybe even since HCTP. HCTP was the most fun, but this seems so realistic.

So, this may have been talked about already....but there are real ads in the arena now!? I'm currently playing a match with Finlay against Henry, and there are totally Observe & Report signs in the arena. That's pretty cool if you ask me!

They do that in Madden 09. But, I haven't played SvR09 in a while, so I didn't know they were doing it too.

Do you think Smackdown could ever offer commentary updates, like Fifa does?
Imagine just having a free DLC pack, full of new lines from commentators - or even one removing old commentators from the game and replacing them with current guys (Eg. Remove Styles + Tazz from ECW and add Striker/Grisham) - I'd rather have something like that, than a pack full of guys that I'll rarely ever use.

I never realized this before but if your on the character select screen and press X (Xbox 360), you get to limit the next selection to categories like RAW, Smackdown, ECW, Overall etc

They hardly make any big attempts at updating commentary anyway.
I recognise lines in 09 that were used in the first Smackdown vs RAW, its just pure laziness.
I think all voice over work in these games should be stopped all together, its obvious that they spend way too much time on mediocre storymode voice overs instead of making a great season mode like they did in the past.
If they can't do it right, dont do it at all.

I just played Smackdown again, I took this game for granted. It is not bad at all. Its nice to have a choice between this and LOWM but I think I will be playing this again for a while.
