How do the weapons work on this game? Do they do loads of damage and if you slam someone on them does it do damage? I can't really imagine how it works Okay. In a normal match, you reach under the wing for a weapon. Then, you have 3 different strikes to use: a jab to the stomach, and side swing to the ribs, or a overhead swing to the head. Weapons range from bats to barbed wire bats to chairs to kendo sticks to table pieces to light tubes. With the tubes, they break if you do the side swing or overhead swing. Enough weapon strikes draw blood easily. And no, you can't slam them on weapons on the ground.

Something that I think is really overlooked is the personalities that shine through in FPR.
I was doing a Briscoes vs. Steen & Generico ROH Tag Team Title match...and I was the Briscoes. I destroyed Generico the entire match with strikes and just brutalized him. Eventually, Generico literally SNAPPED. After taking such a disrespectful beating, he decided to murder Mark Briscoe.
El Generico, who does arm drags and takedowns the entire first half of a match, goes after Mark on the apron, and hits him with a half nelson suplex ON THE APRON. Then, he decides to hit him with a brainbuster and two more half nelsons on the floor. Mark was dead. Generico then calmed down and walked to his corner. By far, one of the coolest spots I've ever seen in FPR.

If there is anyone questioning how good this game is, I dare you to watch this video and still tell me it's not good.

I got it today for the GBA. Sure, the controls are hard to get used to, but I can't wait for the next one to come out, definitely a must buy. Anyways, I took some pictures, and I'm pretty pleased with this one. Sure, it's a simple move, but something about it looks amazing. Connor Mac vs. my cousin in a death match SHINING WIZARD

it will be a lot better on ps2 because gba can't really handle create a wrestler and things like that and it will really have a chance to shine on a home system,it's too good of a game to play on a handheld device

I heard on a few game forums including gamefaqs, that the scheduled release date for the game is December 11th. Which is good because thats a day before my birthday. I'll probably ask for a ps2 and FPR.

I just got Firepro Wrestling 1 for GBA and it's great. Anyway, I also asked this in the CAW thread but has anybody got any decent CAW's for this game?

I will be soon making a Fire Pro federation out of WWE, ROH & TNA wrestlers and posting it on Youtube.
First match, Kurt Angle Vs Shawn Michaels Vs Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship!

ROH Save in works, for Fire Pro D for the Dreamcast. Missing various ROH alumni. Oh yeah, and the most important; the ROH logo, the logic, and the actual moveset. So I'll just be posting progress here and there and maybe even post the save if anyone wants it. If anyone wants to help, do so. Advice, what attires they should rather have. What head they should have, or someone could post a .DCI of the logo But yeah, here's what I got so far... Current Roster 1. Samoa Joe - Incomplete (M&L) 2. KENTA - Completed3. Please answer these 's Can you play this game on a regular PS2? Who is on the roster? Where can I buy this game? 1. Yes. The import is being ported to American PS2 consoles. Release date is a few weeks after SvR 08. 2. Here's the in-game roster - www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/927675/38973. But you can make up to 500 CAWs. Here are the available wrestlers you can make into CAWs - www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/927675/39438. 3. You can purchase this game in any retail store on release.

It's cool, kinda like the boxart from the Game Boy Advance series. Just as long as Agetec doesn't mess around with the game...
