From my game, I really enjoyed the first or second Akira Taue (CPU)/Hiroshi Tanahashi (me) match. I love how Taue just German suplexed Tanahashi into the third row from the inside of the ring. Honorable mention goes to Toshiaki Kawada (me) vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (CPU). Then my friend and I had a 5 vs. 5 Survival match and it was Takeshi Morishima (him) vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (me). I can't count how many powerbombs and backdrop suplexes were delivered in that match.

Guys I am seeking a good wrestling game and have heard a lot of good things about Fire Pro. I like realistc, challenging wrestling so could anyone give me some info.
How is the engine? Anything like the old No Mercy engine, is it realistic and does it have good momentum and does the psychology seem like real wrestling? Also, I have a few US video game systems like PS2 and 3. Is there a way to get a Fire Pro game without modding my systems? Any info would be great as I am a complete NOOB to FirePro.

Then again, Fire Pro has an actual learning curve, takes timing and strategy, and plays out like an actual wrestling match.

It's basically this: you "walk" into your opponent to grapple, and then try to complete a button combo first (i.e. -> + x). This game is awesome in my opinion. It has 327 wrestlers on it, plus 500 Edit (caw) slots for a total of 827 wrestlers available. The psychology is great, as you can adjust your edits Logic (how he reacts to different moves, counters, etc) to make for a very realistic competition. As it is now available as a North American translation, you can pick this game up for $9.82 at Wal-Mart or less than $20 on Ebay. If you need more, I would highly suggest checking out fireproclub.com/forum for all the help/reviews/FAQ's you need. You can also download edit packs of created wrestlers (i.e. 1998 WWF, 1990 WCW, etc) and upload to your PS3.

I'll look into getting it especially since there is a translation.

Hey guys, I got the game and it owns! It took me awhile to start winning and I'm only playing on level 2 at the moment, but getting more used to it and it's really fun. I also created a modern day HBK and made it as accurate as possible because I memorize most of his move set. I'll try and post pics at some point.

Does any one know where I could obtain a list of custom characters?
Creating them is so freaking tedious, I've made myself a Macho Man, Ted Dibiase and I've altered a few others, but I'd to know if somebody has a list of blueprints to follow to cut time in half?
