Just a few questions... Don't you also need some sort of mod chip to play the imports? If so, how much is that? Is there any way I can get the menu's in English? And lastly, are any of the Dragon Gate guys in the game? I think in the GBA version they called them Azteca-Dragon Team. Anyway, I get paid on friday, and I'm kind of on the fence about this. I'd have to buy a ps2, the game and the fliptop, and while it'd be like my whole check, I know it'd be worth it. Fliptop > Modchip. There's a patch that makes it english, but I don't reccomend it. DG is in, too.

I'm still kind of on the fence, I don't want to buy a ps2 then it up and be out 130 bucks or so.

I'd check pawn shops for PS2s, they usually have them cheap. PM ICONS, he can probably help you with the game part. I know he's helping me. I put modchip at first, I meant fliptop. I looked at instructions and to install the fliptop on a skinny Ps2 looked like cake.

Yeah, Dean's my FPW apprentice. Anything I know, he knows. Though he probably knows a smidge more than me.

I have fire pro for the GBA, and have played it for many years. Is it worth all the fuss to get it on the PS2? Is it a huge step?

I have fire pro for the GBA, and have played it for many years. Is it worth all the fuss to get it on the PS2? Is it a huge step? It's so worth buying a PS2 for FPR alone. Hell, get it for KOC 2, and in some cases Wrestle Kingdom. All three games are great in their own rights.

I've already got a gamecube and PS2 and N64.. I have day of reckoning 2, No mercy, so i'm in no shortage of decent wrestling games. I'm just undecided if i want my Ps2 modded and risking . (I live in england so it seems like there would be more hassle in trying to get this game)

Is it possible to get a flip top for a regular sized PS2 not the slim one? I've never looked into mods for my PS2 but this game is interesting me enough to contemplate getting it modded.

ChuckyBlaze, yes you can get the flip top for the original (Big) PS2. That's what I have. Just read the tutorial over, and over until you know exactly how to do it. The only thing you have to be really careful of, is the reset/eject button wire.

Juggy, this is the wrestling sim to get. It shouldn't be difficult to get. Buy the game from www.play-asia.com. Get the (Spike the Best) version, it's like the (greastest hits) version (cheaper.) It's about $25 dollars. Buy the flip top from www.ps2fliptop.net/. Find out if you need the original 10 screw, or the original 8 screw one, or maybe you've got the slim PS2. Buy the flip top with the swap magic discs. Go here for installation instructions. purogamer.com/Finally go here for the best site on this game. www.fireproclub.com/The fireproclub is filled with folks that will help you out. Very important, download the translation guide. It is a great guide for the game. Once you have the game if you need a download with caws, and all wrestlers renamed, let me now. Have fun.

Cheers Mutahart, it looks absolutly incredible. Fire pro for the GBA is my all time favourite game and yet this looks like even better. I have a slimline Ps2 and the damn thing looks so fragile, Is it risky modding it up? I think I can get someone to mod my ps2 for me which is much safer. Because I live in England the conversion rate works in my favour! I mean I could get this game for £12 and the recent smackdown was like £30 and i got bored of that in a week. I can't wait till i get this now.
