According to Midway Games, TNA's first video "TNA Impact" is scheduled for a Spring 2008 release on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2.
I got this from wrestleview.com I'm so happy it's on PS2 because I can't afford any of the other systems.

I really wish they would stop making these sports games on Last Gen consoles. Because of that, we get lackluster ports. I hope it isnt like that with iMPACT.

I'll rent it first, then if it don't completely suck (like most Midway games too, think about the nightmares Mortal Kombat gave you) I'll buy it. The graphics on it a great. Just remember, Midway is making it.

Oh god, PLEASE let it stay put for PS2! When the trailer came out, I remember it saying only the ext gen systems, and I was pissed.

I'm so happy it's on PS2 because I can't afford any of the other systems. Same with me, although I own a Wii. I'm pretty sure wrestling games are going to be really bad on that console though, so a PS2 release is a relief. |

People like you are the reason that Next Gen titles that are also on Last Gen consoles tend to suck SO bad... Because developers don't want to have to add new crap (ie Custom Soundtracks) to one specific title because then the owners of Last gen consoles bitch and complain but yet if they leave it out, then the people who own Next Gen consoles (The people they should be focusing on as the people who are willing to continually support them by purchasing new consoles) bitch and complain. Now what makes more sence? Satisfying the customers who are too damn lazy to go and make some money to purchase your new console and there fore are contributing nothing to your company? Or satisfying the customer who are willing to go shell out some more money for your hot, new console? |

The PS2 outsold Wii, 360, and PS3 over the holidays. It is still getting a ton of support considering it's a last-gen system. I am going to college next year and I have a couple grand. Does that mean I want to end up paying $600-700 to get a new system and a couple games? No. Anyway, I'm thrilled that this game is coming out for PS2 (if it does). I will get it no matter what if it does come out for PS2. |

people should just upgrade and eventually will. Everyone says they wont and eventually they HAVE to. Good thing games like GTA4 and such arent dealing with outdated hardware.
BTW this game will rule all....I hope.
