One question, for people who don't read a newcomer's rp. If you don't read their rp, how do you know it won't interest you?

Like I said before it sickens me when people get 0 replies. Their opponent should always reply to their RP. It's like an unwritten rule. Thats one thing. But discussion is of replies. If say, your rp, got 10 replies. While say, Bronx Bomber got 2. Both were made at the same time, and at the same visibility.. Yet you get replies and he doesn't. Well I'm out, see you peeps later.

My logic on replies;
If I read it I reply. I just don't happen to read many roleplays.

I think I have said it before. I don't normally respond to RP's unless I am asked by the person who wrote it to read it and reply. Also, I willl always reply to my opponents RP and if someone responds to mine then I usually go back and read theres...

Everyone here has read roleplays where you have nothing to really say about them. So what's the point in replying? Just so I can put "I enjoyed it"? See, I don't expect people to read my roleplays or even care about them. It's just the way the WFWF is, and I've accepted it.

OK, let me clarify, as I think my message has gotten lost in what has come since.
#1- I was not bitching about my rp having no replies, and I will not bitch about my rp's having no replies. This is because as I have been here, I have had a few good critiques, and my rp skill has grown, I do not think that I need replies. When I said us newbs, I was speaking up for the other newbs, as it is in their rp's that I see little to no assistance.
#2- I am not saying reply to every rp. In fact, I believe the opposite was stated in my original post. I am saying that it is ridiculous to read twenty replies to an rp by a veteran that is all pretty much unneccessary flaunting of that person's ability. When I read CBT, or Reverend's rp, and I'm not one of the first to read it, I do not reply normally to avoid a huge chain of "Great job" They get the idea after a couple. I was saying try to give the newbs a little more of a chance.
#3-I have seen alot of people post that they do not read anyone's rp unless they are interested in that person, however, how do you know you do not have interest untill you read them. I agree with Obo, if someone spits criticism in your face, screw em. But if they take your honest advice, and run with it, then try to help them out more. Writers only grow from criticism.
Now we all want this fed to be a fun enjoyable experience, but it will not reach its potential unless we help each other out. That's all I'm saying.

So, new topic. Let's take guesses on the mysteries of Superbrawl.
JT's Opponent?
Third Revolution member?
Will Tyger really retire?

xkaliburr I hope you are kidding. The reason why most veterens get the more replies are because people are interested in their matches more. Plus being considered veterans means you have stuck with it, not just stayed for a month and leave. All the veterans at one point were rooks just like others, but we didnt quit because of lack of replies. Quit complaining and be thankful that someone, anyone, took the time to read the rp. even if it is one person. Sure we all like replies, but you arent always going to get a lot every rp you put up. and there are times that veterans disagree with other veterans rps as well, like most of the time there are problems with my rps and i have been rping for over 3 years now. We dont always pat each other on the back. once people get more interested in your character and such then they will choose to read your rps and reply until then just keep rping for your matches and see what happens. There have been times when I have posted rps and got 0 replies so just hang in there and deal with it. Immune You ahve left and come back more times than I can count. Consider yourself a newb until I deem it otherwise. And don't be an a$$hole. Kurt is right. The Newbs like Bronx Bomber for example deserve replies more than say someone like Alex Sean based sheerly on the fact that Alex knows what he is doing to a higher degree than Bomber. While Bomber is good he still has a lot to learn, and he can only learn it if someone teaches him. I myself have been slack in replying to rps and as an owner I should be one of those people who helps out. I also think people like Obo, CBT, Tyme, and even Immune should read rps of the newer guys and give them advice. That way the talent gets better here and we get more things going in the fed. I am not saying it is required but I just encourage people to help others out more. I mean how many times can you face each other. We need the newer people to get better so competition gets better and more diverse. It is a pain in the ass to make cards and try not to have the same people facing off each time. That is why after the ppv, the cards are going to be more angle based in regards to booking.

Also, some of you people would be surprised where Drakz and myself would rank you as far as talent goes. A lot of people think they are better than they are, and think they are above others because of it. Wayne is one of the newest people in the fed, and he is in the top four as far as rpers goes. Think of that people.

JT's Opponent (Johnny Arsenic)
Third Revolution member (M.Sanchez or Wayne McGurk)
Will Tyger really retire (Yes, but for a short time)
That was simple and I have a question for Drakz or Kyzer, is the Superbrawl cutoff this Friday or Sunday ?

Cutoff is friday @ Midnight and Drakz will post the show on Sunday.
I won't post the list because it might piss people off. We thought about doing a top ten but that would also irritate people. So we are just sticking to the SOTM.

I hate when people leave, only to return in the main event scene. You should need to re earn that spot.

I will say this, as of the moment we only have a few main eventers. that being Alex Sean and Reverend Shadow. The next closest two are MOD and ZMaster. Drakz and I have high standards. those are the four that have shown the best. CBT, Obo, Calvin and Wayne are getting close. Everyone else take that for what it is worth.

Know I'm possibly #10 is fine in my book's because I've wrtten some turd past/now and that's because I had/have writer's block. So yeah anything above 10 and less than 20 is good in my book's.

It definately would not be a good idea to post the list. Sounds like everyone is going to have to step up their game, which is a good thing.
