i've found the best thing for rut sticking is a 4 wheel drive...............but when pertaining to writing....i suggest either music or television.....seems to help set the mood at least for possible rps...for instance I was bored and downloaded the entire soundtrack to Chicago and instantly decided to write a musical as my rp......it was...interesting to say the least

I think my best RPs come, when I either got a great opponent, alot of knowledge about my opponent, or feel like "  it, its gonna suck anyway" I think a good title can set the mood, and its proven true under any person I've handled... which is about 2... but still. |

I think my best rp came when i realized that maybe im getting a push (spoilers?). Not only that, but i feel that i should have really climb the ladder here and not just stay in the undercard. Also because i cant stand another loss to Mr. Justin Tyme  |

Ummmm....I write best when really...I know a good setting....I always know everything I want to talk about...or most of my rps I do...I just get stuck on a good setting to relate....it's my weakness I guess you could say....and yes.....this week that very thing is happening to me....I can't think of a good setting.

Most of the time a good idea for a setting comes when I'm sitting on the bus going to school or in the case of my Superbrawl RP, coming home from a camping trip in and out of falling asleep I was coming up with ideas... Music keeps my RP's flowing and the songs I listen to that get's things moving tends to be BTO, Trooper, Golden Earring, Fozzy etc...

Wow, talk about your bad ing timing. I was on aim, and was trying to talk to somebody from another site, but weren't replying back. So I logged in to my old aim name, since some people choose the im's they accept, and they'd know the sn, when it came through. Well I logon, and I only have one name on my list, a good friend of mine from the 1st real site I was a active part of. I haven't talked to the dude in about 2 years, and he gave me alot of respect for what I did(not e-fed related). Now I feel like sh¡t. Great. |

I really dont' see any inspiration from it...or movies, books...etc. I've been told it gets you thinking more...but anytime I try..I fail...I guess it's one of those things that'll come to you when the times right. |

So, can someone explain the point of the House Shows? I mean, I get that it's supposed to be a learning place for new roleplayers, but how can people really learn how to roleplay when they have to write with a 200 word limit?

Gotcha.
But why are the vets roleplaying with 200 word limits? It doesn't really give them much leeway to write a good, thought out roleplay.
