So, not to screw up any potential booking plans or to be an inconvenience to CBT/Shadow, but this is my one/two week notice before I leave the WFWF.

I'll be reading these roleplays and be thinking about how, in pretty much the long run, they're all basically the same. You know, monologue, just talking about people's gimmicks, usually ending with "I'm gonna beat you". Not wanting to do something that, I think, is too basic and simple I try and do different types of roleplays that are more then just "wrestling" roleplays. But I mean, then it really hits me; this is a wrestling e-fed. I remember back several years ago some guy posted a roleplay about his relationship with a teenager. I, and a lot of other people, replied with basically "that has nothing to do with wrestling; you didn't even mention your opponent". So now here I am, for the most part doing the same thing. So, I figure it's time for me to just pack it up. It’s not that most of these roleplays are bad; it’s just that I honestly don’t care anymore.

My interest in wrestling is pretty low (and if anyone replies with "then watch ROH/IWA-MS!", I'm cracking skulls). If I should be writing, it certainly shouldn't be in a wrestling e-fed, where I could care less about the actual wrestling aspect of it. Sure, I probably could write a monologue every week against any opponent; it'd be no problem. But that's the thing. I want to at least be challenged.

I do blame some of this lack of caring on the fact that Al did abruptly leave. It's not so much that I care, just that it put a sudden holt to the Anointed, which we actually had plans for. Plans, which for the record, actually revolved around wrestling. Just throwing it out there, but it would have been damn good. I'm gonna be honest; I want someone to ask me what it was gonna be. Unfortunately the whole "wanting someone to ask/someone asking/explaining it" would be kind of awkward. So I guess don't?

I'll still roleplay this week, and possibly the next if booking is really crucial. I'll tell you right know though, I'm not gonna be trying very hard, though I'll still put up something presentable. All I ask is that whenever I'm written off, don't write it off. Please just write the results as you normally would, as if I'd return the next week. Two reasons, one being that I'd personally want to find a way to end the EBR character (with an additional roleplay after I'm no longer booked), and honestly, I always hated watching people get written off in the results.

I apologize to Rev, Shadow, and to some extents Obo for this. I admit, I should have posted this yesterday before the results where up. But you guys actually got the results up when you said you would, so kudos to that. I'll tell you right now that you're good, possibly great owners. Of course, my logic on being good owners is just getting things up on time, but you also create interest. So kudos.

So, I'm just gonna throw out some (possible) random advice. Don't overuse monologues. Actually, you can use monologues as much as you want. Just don't keep doing them when it all it is knocking your opponent's wrestling style/gimmick. I mean, why would the EBR character care that some new guy is a high flyer when they have no history going into the match? Right now, going into someone's bio and just writing a roleplay against them off of what's in their bio doesn't require any skill, in my opinion. It's honestly hard to write a bad roleplay doing that, but it's also harder to write a good and memorable one.

Also, just throwing this out there to be a douche bag. When me and Al thought up the Anointed we joked that no one would be able to roleplay effectively and easily against the EBR character. I didn't write a gimmick in my bio on purpose (since I think summarizing your gimmick is kind of stupid and obviously doesn't have the whole picture), and most of all, EBR wasn't a heel or an bunghole. I wanted people to read my roleplays and interpret it for themselves. I got a PM from an opponent asking me to explain my gimmick once. Now, to be fair, I’d only done a couple roleplays up to that point, with a few segments in results that honestly, I’m sure contradicted themselves. I’m giving majority of people here the benefit of the doubt. My writing isn’t great, and I’m sure my Anointed gimmick wasn’t as good as I thought it was. I can honestly admit that. But to see someone have to actually ask me to improve my bio because they can’t roleplay against me, when at that point I had done two roleplays, quite frankly, offends me. It made me think that there was no point in doing anything that I considered creative. Maybe people just didn’t read my roleplays, I dunno. I just think it speaks volumes that (some) people can’t write a roleplay unless a gimmick is literally written right there in front of them. I mean, the whole point of the WFWF is that you have a character. You can interpret any other character however the hell you want. It makes me wonder how anyone could have ever roleplayed against Shadow, who had a far tougher gimmick to roleplay against.

So in summary, I’m leaving, I have no more interest, interest was really killed when Al left, CBT and Rev are good owners, and I hate how people either didn’t read or didn’t get my roleplays.

I will say I'm gonna miss you and your roleplays, although it was old school writing, I always enjoyed your stuff. Sorry to see you go.
