Anyone found Series 4 of anything yet? There wasn't anything series 4 in the Winston-Salem area as I checked earlier tonight. However, the Winston TRU did get in the Survivor Series for anyone that may still be looking for that series. They had several of everyone as they had a few cases. There were no 1/1000's. |

Went out today to like 5 WalMarts, 5 Targets, and a K-Mart, all outside of my comfort zone. Same ol stuff. Mainly in Garner and Raleigh.
Most interesting thing I saw was an HBK FlexForce.

I checked Winston today and still no signs of Series 4 of any sets. Any luck? I take it you checked the Wal-Mart close to the Hane's Mall Target (behind the movie theater)? Did they have any signs of any Basic figures at all (past sets like Series 2, 3 or any PPV 1, 2)? This Wal-Mart hasn't had a thing the last couple months, but I haven't checked it in over a month, so maybe they have got something in since then. I know this is probably a long shot, but has anyone seen any of the Royal Rumble figures yet? |

Hey Guys! TRU in Winston has all of Basic 3, Many each of. No 1/1000. Picked up a Khali. The newer Wal-Mart in town, ( the one near Silas Creek Parkway) had Two Packs Series 4! ( FINALLY!) They also had many of each, I picked up a Hart Dynasty.

I am headed on an out of state trip for the holiday weekend, so I thought I would do some light figure hunting before I leave. I stopped in Salisbury and Thomasville. Both Wal-Marts in the towns have 2 packs series 4 (3 of each) and nothing else of interest. The Wal-Mart in Salisbury has a TON of UFC figures and it looks like they may have to clearance them soon (hopefully). The Lexington Wal-Mart also has some of the 2 packs series 4, but there are no signs of Basic 4 anywhere. Any signs of the Legends figures? I can't wait to pick up one of the Ricky Steamboat figures after watching the Youtube video here on Wfigs. Hopefully the stores don't charge a ridiculous price for them like they do the Elites. Anyone know how much they are supposed to be at retail? EDIT: Forgot to mention that there is nothing new at the Salisbury and Thomasville Kmart stores. Has anyone seen any signs of Basic 3 at any Kmart stores in this state? The Kmarts that I have visited are bare as far as Basic figures go. |

FOUND BASIC 4! at WalMart in Holly Springs. Got the whole set. What's left: 1 Goldust, 2 Matt Hardy's, 2 HBK's, 2 MVP's.
WalMart (Apex): They have an untouched case there.
WalMart (Cary): Untouched case there as well.
NO 1/1000's in sight.
Awesome figures.
I need to get the 2-packs Series 4 now.

I stopped by Winston today and nothing new other than a ton of Basic 3 at TRU. They had several of each wrestler and even had a good amount of Mickie's. There were no 1/1000's.

Did anyone take the trip to the Asheville F.Y.E. for the Chris Jericho/Fozzy signing? I drove the two and a half hours for it and I was told that he was not able to make it when I arrived after that long trip. He had to fly to California at twelve last night to do some filming for that new game/reality show that he is hosting, therefore he couldn't make it to the signing. Also for those of you that are going to the Raw house show in Asheville tonight, Jericho will not be there either. One of the employees of this F.Y.E. mentioned that they were going to try to reschedule the signing (she wanted to try and get him there tomorrow; good luck with that), but I just don't see that working out (at least anytime soon).
So I decided to turn the wasted trip into a decent one by doing some figure hunting in the area. I made a great decision! Low and behold there it was, on the first stop, I finally found what I have been looking feverishly for the last couple months. I found a 1/1000 C.M. Punk #690!!!
Also, Basic 4 has hit at the Wal-Marts in that area and I counted at least 5 full cases at the Wal-Marts I stopped at between there and home. No figures were missing from the pegs and there were no 1/1000's (are you serious). So for those in that area, you should be able to pick up what you are looking for in the series if you are willing to travel around. All the Basic 4 were found close to Asheville with nothing this way yet.
On a side note, the figure that I was most excited for out of the series is Dolph Ziggler. All of the figures in the series are decent, except his, which looks bad. The head scan is awful with the rest of the figure looking ok. I am only going to pick one up if I find a 1/1000 version.
