It looks like Elite 4 is starting to hit around here for those of you that collect them! My local Wal-Mart has one each minus Kofi Kingston. They all look good, especially the Morrison figure. What is the deal with Finlay's jacket accessory? It looks alright, but I can't figure out why Finlay comes packaged with it? Yeah that jacket is weird. Apparently he used to wear it back in the day in WCW... and he wore it at WrestleMania. Doesn't make much sense to me either. Did you happen to notice what color attire the Elite Jericho's were? That makes much more sense about the jacket situation. The Jericho had the blue attire if I am not mistaken. The purple attire is the variant, right? |

I think Blue is the variant, Im not sure though. I have a purple 1 coming from RSC, so I hope I can find a blue 1 out there. I went to Wal-Mart a little while ago and got all excited, because I saw a Mattel Action Figures box unopened that they were about to stock.. but when I got closer, they were Flex Force.  lol. |

I think Blue is the variant, Im not sure though. I have a purple 1 coming from RSC, so I hope I can find a blue 1 out there. I went to Wal-Mart a little while ago and got all excited, because I saw a Mattel Action Figures box unopened that they were about to stock.. but when I got closer, they were Flex Force. lol. If you want, I can go hide it for you; that is if you are willing to make the long drive up here. That also reminds me...there is a new Flex-Force series out now for those of you that may collect them. I forgot to report that last week... |

I found Elite 4 at Target is Durham. They only had Big Show and Jericho in purple. I will probably just get Jomo if i see him but I'm not driving around searching for him.

Did anyone get a chance to go to the wrestling event at Green Ford (that's right, not a typo) in Greensboro today? They had The Barbarian, Jake Roberts, Ivan and Nikita Koloff, Baby Doll, The Assassins (1 & 2) and Jimmy Valiant all advertised to be there. Everyone showed for both the autograph sessions and the wrestling event despite the rain. There was a huge turnout and I have to give it up for all of the talent that worked their matches in the rain in a soaked ring! Buddy Landell made a surprise appearance for the main event, which truly shocked me considering he wasn't advertised. I only got to meet Ivan Koloff since Nikita had to leave early and am looking forward to meeting The Barbarian at an upcoming wrestling event in August...
...which leads me to a question. Does anyone have any information on an upcoming indy show that is supposed to take place on August 14th around Charlotte? It is in a small town, but I can't think of the name of it. I think the town is somewhere between Charlotte and Asheville. There is a scheduled cage match involving The Barbarian that is going to take place that should be interesting.

FOUND Elite 4 tonight. @ Holly Springs Wal-Mart. Unopened box on a pallet and I asked if I could open it.
Only bought Kofi Kingston & the John Morrison variant (with cranberry colored robe) since I already have everything else I need coming in the mail. Just waiting on Kane & Big Show from Walmart.com. Man, those 2 figures are freaking awesome.
They also had the BLUE Jericho I have been looking for! Didn't buy it because the paint job was TERRIBLE. Pretty disappointing. His wristbands had a huge streak thru them. Paint was missing all over. I dont know how to explain it but believe me you wouldnt want this figure PAINTED LIKE THAT. Oh well, I will get it eventually.

I went out and picked up a Classic Superstars 27 Barbarian figure earlier. Amazingly, I was able to find one on clearance in half decent condition for $2.69 at the Kmart in Salisbury! There is another one left if anyone wants it at that price. I decided to go searching for one for the upcoming event next month to get signed. Nothing new to report in Salisbury...no Elite 4 at that Wal-Mart.
Does anyone know what basic series of figures (Basic 4, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber) are in stock at the Concord, Greensboro and Winston TRU's? I was wanting to see if they have any of those series in stock yet at either or all of the three.

Wow, thanks! I had to take a trip to Winston Wednesday and took a look at most of the major stores. Nothing really to note, but TRU finally got Legends 1 in at some point as they had Rhodes and Slaughter. No Steamboat, Stone Cold or Road Warriors from what I saw. They still had some Classic Superstars figures that were yet to go on clearance...they should have started clearing them out in May. Nothing new to report at any of the stores. Has anyone found Royal Rumble anywhere in the Winston area? |

Dashing! I scored a 1/1000 Cody Rhodes this morning #501! Now I only need 1/1000's of both Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre and I will be content for the time being!
I also spotted Basic Series 5 2-packs at my local Wal-Mart. They had the following:
DX (x3)
Steamboat/Jericho (x2)
Carlito & Primo (x1) (badly damaged around the hook on the card)
I sort of wish I would have waited and picked up the Steamboat/Jericho 2-pack instead of the Legends figure as it is much more detailed and I can't get over how awesome the Jericho figure is in that set. The DX is an amazing set as well and I might pick one up later on. So any of you looking for 2-packs 5 should be able to find them within the next week!
They also had a restock on Elite 4 (one of everyone) and had another variant Jericho and a non-variant Morrison. I finally seen the variant version of Morrison and the non-variant version of Jericho today when I found the 1/1000 Cody!
