Thanks for posting! I am actually going to that signing and have planned to do so for over a month now. It is supposed to be limited to only 300 people and you can only get one item signed, so I don't know how well it will go...

Sorry for the late reply, as I went out for dinner after I got back today.

The line looked to run close to half the length of the store (from the back to the front) from what I payed attention to and that was around 12:00 PM (he arrived early, not sure of the exact time, but it wasn't 12 yet). I was tenth in line and it moved at a reasonable pace. He signed whatever you had and was friendly as always (I met him last year at the Wal-Mart in Burlington, but didn't have a figure to get signed at the time).

The Hall of Fame figures were put out at 11:00 PM as advertised. The employees brought out 6 cases on a cart and unloaded the figures on a table. There looked to be 4 of each wrestler per box so that breaks down to 24 Sgt. Slaughter HOF figures in all. The employees gave out tickets to everyone in line and had a raffle to where the winners could go and open the boxes and get first pick (could only get 5 figures) of the boxes. I think there were 6 people chosen to do this. After that, everyone else could go and pick up the figures that they wanted. When i got up there, I only seen 3 Slaughter figures left and I picked the best out of the 3 to purchase as that was the only figure I wanted out of the series. Every single Sgt. Slaughter figure was sold in less than 10 minutes, so it was perfect timing on my part to get the 1. I left there with the HOF figure signed, the Classic Superstars 27 figure I brought along signed, an event poster signed and a Mattel autograph paper signed! The only complaint I would have is they should have made a special/extra run of the Sgt. Slaughter figure as there was no where near enough figures for the demand at this signing. The guy in line behind me doesn't collect wrestling figures (yet), but was going to buy one of the Sgt. Slaughter figures to get signed. He was unable to get 1. Mattel really dropped the ball there as 24 figures didn't cut it. They obviously could have attracted new customers with just this event if only they would have had more in stock. Overall a fun event with a great turnout!

I also done some light figure hunting on the way home with nothing really to report on. I did find a sign of Legends 2 as the Target in Gastonia had 1 Jimmy Snuka left in stock; so keep your eyes open. Elite 5 is starting to hit nearly everywhere as I seen a couple complete sets. I spotted the Entrance Greats figures of both Roddy Piper and Million Dollar Man at the Kmart in Kannapolis; I think they had 2 of each. I also spotted the Summerslam ring at the Wal-Mart in Salisbury; they had 2 in stock.

What is the deal with the packaging on the TNA Deluxe figures? There was a kid in front of me in the line at the Kmart signing that had a Suicide figure (the first one that I have seen might I add). He was holding the figure, then the next thing you know, the bubble separated from the card without him doing anything. Are all of the packages for these TNA figures like this?

On a side note, the WWE Representative that was with Slaughter was very nice. That is a first from a WWE employee that is not a wrestler as the WWE employees that were at the Ric Flair autograph signing a couple years ago at Concord Mills were rude.

Found out today that Ric Flair was signing autographs @ Kmart in my area (Raleigh, NC) on the 18th. Great advertising Kmart. lol.

Damn! I am starting to get skeptical about finding a 1/1000 from Basic 5...

Did anyone on here pick up a Basic 5 1/1000 figure from the University Wal-Mart in Winston? The employee working toys said that there was a few in stock last week, but all are gone now of course.

I also heard that the TRU in Winston got in the Wrestlemania 26 figures according to an employee there. I was told that they got in the basic figures along with the 2-packs. However, they are all sold out. I was wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this as I find it a little hard to believe considering this series is barely anywhere at the moment...

Did you go to Cary TRU today? They muct've put those out today, or late last night. Im waiting for them to put out the WrestleMania figures. Ive been in there like the last 5 days in a row. haha. (not today though)

I seen some of those TNA Genesis figures (Havoc Unleashed style figures) today while I was out here in town. I may buy the whole set at a later date since they are only $3 per figure.

Has anyone seen the Ruthless Aggression style TNA figures ANYWHERE around North Carolina? I didn't see even a sign of them from Gastonia to here when I was out last weekend. I can't believe none of you Raleigh area hunters have seen any of them as that seems to be the area where new figures hit first in this state.

Any sign of the Basic 6 2-packs?

For anyone who is looking, they have Best of 2010 ELITE @ Target in Cary.

Nothing at Durham TRU. Only thing new was Elite ring. They only have Elite 3, legends 1 and old basic and 2 packs. This was this weekend. This always happen when they have a sale and nothing new to buy. I stop at TRU Cary on Sunday and found Variant Pride Wanderlei Silva. Pick it up to trade.
