Founcd Basic 7 @ WalMart (Holly Springs). Picked up a Sheamus 1/1000 andc a McCool 1/1000.  Found basic 7 at Walmart in morrisville. I found 5 1/1000 Mccool and about 7 Sheamus. I took some pics. I will post pics later of the display they had. haha I just got back from there and saw the 3 1/1000's you left behind. I also left them behind. |

Hey, Has anyone seen Basic 7 or DI 3 in the Winston-Salem area? The Wal-Mart on Highway 150 had at least one of the whole set minus Michelle McCool as of last Thursday night. They were on an end cap facing the end of the store right when you walked away (towards the front of the store) from the wrestling figures. Do you hit the Winston TRU often by any chance? There is something that they may be getting in that I am looking for if you would be interested in keeping an eye out. Well I done something tonight that I told myself I wouldn't do. I bought a UFC figure. I scored a UFC Deluxe Series 5 Legends Dan Severn. I mainly got it for a signing coming up at the end of February, but I think I would rather get one of his old WWF figures. If anyone here has a WWF Dan Severn figure new in package that they would be willing to get rid of, please let me know. I would be willing to trade his UFC figure that I have or even buy it straight out. On an interesting side note, if you look at his picture on the front of his UFC figure, he is holding the NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt over his right shoulder. Although it is only half the belt pictured, I thought it was sort of weird that Dana White would allow something like that due to the way Dana is... Does anyone have any information on the following: -Is Jakks going to continue the Ruthless Impact Series past the first series? Has anyone heard anything at all concerning this situation? -Any word on when the Lucha Libre USA figures are scheduled to be released either online or at stores? Any word if they will even make it to stores? I viewed the prototype images, but never seen any of this information revealed. |

Has Legends 3 been found anywhere in the Greensboro/Burlington/Raleigh NC area yet? I haven't seen them anywhere.

I saw the new FlexForce at K-Mart (Cary). Most notably FlexForce Sheamus. I picked up FlexForce Jericho (since I collect all his figures).

They open up TRU express in Northgate Mall in Durham. They just had old series like legends 1, elite 4, legends 2 pack. I keep seeing those legends 2 pack shelfwarming all the TRU. It looks like no one wants to buy them. I pass on them because of the price. Once they clearance them, I'll pick the bushwackers.

went to my walmart today to see on Sheamus.... got there EVERY basic item is gone.. except one and it was a Yoshi Tatsu.. they got series 7 and Sheamus in and i missed it. i've been going to walmart every week for over a month waiting for this figure and i missed it. i have the worse luck trying to find figures i actually want

in michigan mattel has dropped to 7.50 how much are they there Basics are still $7.50 at Target stores, however, I think they are off sale now at Wal-Mart. I haven't payed attention to the prices at Wal-Mart in a week or so, therefore I am not 100% sure. Just curious, are you planning to visit North Carolina? I scored a 1/1000 Royal Rumble Series Beth Phoenix #726 today at one of the Target stores in Greensboro. Not much to mention other than Elite 6 hitting up in that area. That is the first time that I have seen that series at retail and I plan to pick up CM Punk eventually. I would have went ahead and bought him, but the hook on the package was torn on both of the Punk's that I found. Still an awesome figure though! I have heard some rumblings of a Chuck Liddell/Randy Courture (I think that is who the other fighter is in the package) 2-pack being very rare/sought after. Is this true? I don't know much about the UFC figures, but I did find 3 of those 2-packs today. I find $20 hard to spend for UFC figures, but may go for it if this is a rare set of figures. |

went to the walmart in kernersville. finally i went at a good time!
they had 3 Sheamus', 1 Yoshi, 2 1 of 1000 McCool's and 1 Kofi. i got 2 of the Sheamus' and the yoshi, so if anybody wants a sheamus, or 1/1000 mccool or a kofi, there is 1 of each there

So I went hunting today on my only off day for the next eight days. Here's whats new in the triangle:
Grove Barton Target: Legends 3-One of each.
Brier Creek Walmart: A crapload of the Best of 2010 series
Brier Creek Target: Elite 6- Everyone except Matt & Shad.
I was soooooo tempted to buy The Rock, but I promised myself I would not buy him unless it was the Goldberg fued Rock with his shaved head & Samoan tattoos. If anyone finds Series eight Kofi, he's the last figure of 2010 on my list.

I thought I would share this link with y'all since it has been helpful for me as far as finding special wrestling events around the area: www.midatlanticgateway.com/events.htm. Take note that events are only listed if they feature a wrestler that wrestled in the Mid-Atlantic territory in the golden years. This wrestler's name will be listed in red if they fit that criteria. For all of you Raleigh area collectors, there is a show in Clayton this Saturday night that features Demolition Ax and Smash. The Barbarian is also scheduled for this show (well worth it just to meet him as I have met him and he is a very nice individual). I will be attending this event to meet both legends and thought I would share the link and information since I know there is at least a couple of you from this area that might be interested in attending the event. |
