Anybody going to the April 4th Charlotte Checkers game to meet Chris Masters? I am thinking about going, but was wondering if you absolutely have to purchase a ticket to go. I have no interest in attending the game, but would like to go to the signing. Has anyone ever been to a signing like this and can tell me how it works?
Also, has anyone heard of any type of signings at any of the minor league baseball games in North Carolina? I know that signings are held in other states, but just wondering if anyone might know of some that are coming up or have been to one or more in the past.

Visited Target @ New Garden Rd in Gboro today.
Mattel Legends: 2 Jakes, 2 Dustys, 2 Sheiks.
Mattel DM: 1 Savage
Mattel Elite: 2 Cenas (series 7), 1 Kidd, 1 Koslov, 1 Swagger, 1 HHH
I grabbed the HHH (for trade) and Kidd, Swagger (for custom).
Mattel Elite series 7 has hit the area, folks.

Mattel DM: 1 Savage Mattel Elite: 2 Cenas (series 7), 1 Kidd, 1 Koslov, 1 Swagger, 1 HHH I grabbed the HHH (for trade) and Kidd, Swagger (for custom). Mattel Elite series 7 has hit the area, folks. Did you check the TNA figures by any chance? |

Yeah. 2 Joe's, 1 Foley. Slim pickings.
Went to TRU in Gboro yesterday.
Besides what was already posted, it appears that they either found or got:
a case of BO2010 (Taker, HHH, Rey)
Elite series 6
DM Warrior/Rock (1 of each, which I picked up for trade).
TNA LotR: Nash and Jarret, 2 each.
Same Jakks UFC figs.

Picked up DM2 Ultimate Warrior at TRU in Cary. They still had one Rock out on the floor, but I'm sure if you ask they will have more in the backroom. I sooooo excited to get the new Punk/Austin set. That yellow attire is my second favorite attires that he wears. (GI Joe is #1, Which will NEVER happen.)

Crap! No no no no no Juice...They don't have All Stars yet, I'm sorry Dude, I should have just posted my excitement on the announcement. The only thing new in this weeks shipment is DM2 and the Flexforce Launching Ring. I'd expect All Star to hit in next weeks shipment. The have reset the whole display for new product.

Found Elite series 7 in an unspecified Walmart to the north.
Picked up DH Smith. Had 2 HHH, 1 Michaels, and 3 Cenas.

Check TRU in Durham today and nothing new yet. I did found those Lucha Libre figures. They look kinda cool but I really have no use for them so I pass. Just looking for the new All Stars pack right now.
Forgot to mention they did have DM 2 Rock and Warrior for $25.

I found WrestleMania Heritage 2 in Raleigh at WalMart (New Bern Ave.). They had everyone but Kane and Melina. I picked up a CM Punk.

Did anyone go to the AIWF show here in Lexington this past Sunday (2-27-11)? I went there so I could finally get to meet Robert Gibson of the Rock 'N' Roll Express and get my Classic Superstars 2-pack signed by him. He happily signed that and the 8 x 10 that I brought along. Him and Ricky Morton were extremely nice to everyone and looked like they were having a great time. It was nice to see the two back together again. Just a warning to anyone traveling to any shows around the area; some of the events that happened this past weekend were interrupted by fire marshals and they turned away fans that were lined up to get in the building at one event. I wasn't at any of them that this happened at, but I wanted to forward this information that I heard to those of you that travel miles to these events like I do.
On a related note, I finally picked up a WCW Series 3 Alex Wright figure from George South at the AIWF show! The package was near mint, I couldn't believe it! That is the only thing that I have picked up in weeks as there is nothing new on shelves around here.

Im going to RAW in Raleigh the day before, so Im trying to decide if I should go 2 days in a row. lol. Im also going to SmackDown in Charlotte in early April. |
