I'm a night-owl. That's just how I roll. But the major dilemma that arises is "What the crap can we do for fun?"There's not much open at 1 in the morning, I assure you. But I was lucky enough to stumble across a store that's open 24 hours, the glorious Meijer.
The other night, I meandered over to the action figure (they aren't dolls!!) aisle to see what they had. Now most of the time, they crap out and get stuff about a month or two later than everyone else.
But not last night.
Lo and behold, a veritable cornucopia of Ruthless aggression 24, fresh out of the case. Same deal with Classic 12, though to a slightly inferior degree. No Brooklyn Brawlers, but i got my pick of the Hogans and the Warriors. But the glorious part came in the form of ruthless 24. Khalis' and Sabus' everywhere ! As far as the eye could see. I scooped up 3 of each,which is apparently all that comes out of a case.
Turns out, they get shipments at all hours of the night, and the WWE stuff mostly hits between 1 and 3, on average. And the guys there will even check the back, FOR REAL, to see if they have more. One guy got me Classic 11 hogan,1-2-3 kid,diesel and Rick Steiner when they were still hot. I highly recommend checking one out in your area, especially if they have a 24 hour store, because the manager himself told me
"We get in a lot of figures that people want, but they don't think of us in the same vein as "Toys'r'us" or other big stores. But its always good to take a look once in a while."
