I'm about to order CS9 set for 119.99 & RA18 set for 59.99 off Highspots.com, the prices are fair, but the best thing is their service-I've ordered from them before, and using UPS ground shipping(the one that's cheaper than Priority mail) it gets here within 3 days, sometimes 2-from North Carolina.
I would order from Troy since he's a little bit lower on RA18(54.99) & CS9 alot lower (94.99) but he's gonna charge me $30 shipping on top of those prices, plus I heard his service sucks, and at minimum it'll take a week to get the figures, normal scenario is 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.
HS has their own checkout service which is alot more beneficial to me than Paypal.
A-C-G is too high on their price.
Is there anywhere else to order from where RA18 & CS9 are in stock and ship as quickly? PM me w/some sites

Jacklong, as I said in your WF talk post, I believe it's the guy from Action Toys. I've seen him, and I think he looks older than 40's... like in his 50's... but with the white hair and hoarding. He takes a shopping cart around TRU in Holbrook and fills it...

I have yet to run into one of these people yet. I'm just waiting for the day that it happens. I would probably have to say something to the person or something. Its amazing isnt it? How little kids who love to play with toys dont act like how this 50 year old guy acts when they see a toy they want. I have heard stories about how someone would push thru everyone and go right to the figure section, and take everything that they had, then go to the next store, and do the same thing. I still cant believe it. I mean, when I see what I want, I usually grab it right away, walk around the store and wonder if I should get it or not. I found 2 Adrenaline 16 Batista/JBL packs at the KB in Roosevelt Field. Why couldnt MNM have been there? Dammit.
I understand what you mean. The main reason that I dont order off line, is because I like the feeling of going into a TRU or a KB, hoping that they have the figure I need, instead of ordering it off line and then getting it in the mail. Plus, I dont have enough money to order the whole sets. I just like the feeling. Hopefully I can find some Adrenaline 16 very soon, so I can get MNM.

Okay I got back from Wal Mart in East Meadow and they had AD 16. They had about 8 MNM, 8 Batista/JBL, and 1 Cena/Jericho. I grabbed 6 MNM, 4 JBL/Batista's and the Cena/Jericho....... just kidding.......  I grabbed one MNM and the Cena Jericho. I left the Batista/JBL because I hate how the screaming scan head fits on the new body. I might buy it later, because I like the attire on Batista and Do a head switch with the calm scan. They also had a few random BOWCW/ECW as well. Flair, Rey, and Stevie. Target in Westbury had one DA Kurt Angle 4xBlassie 2xVader 2xBruiser 1xHeenan 2xJericho 16.5? the one with him in the black shirt. That's it for today. I'm hoping RTWM comes out soon. I really want the Rey and Angle. |

They restocked their Marvel Legends Sentinel and Legendary Riders Series I picked up Blue Angel Purple Wonder Man Variant Logan Red Iron Fist Awww  me! They had one more Logan and Wonder Man Variant and they had a few Scarlett Witch figures thrown in as well. Awwwww me sideways! Ugh, I really needed SW and the DOFP Young Logan. The Red Fist would have been nice too. Did they have any other ML 12? I still need X-23. PM me, maybe we can work out something ML findings wise. |

As a side note: Trish Stratus and Chris Masters will be signing autographs at the New York Sports Works store on 2/18, and on Saint Patrick's Day, two people will be signing: Someone who I forget (Cause I was too excited about the next one), and THE BOOGEYMAN!!
TRU (Massapequa): Worst selection I've EVER seen at that TRU....they had two figures left. One RA15.5 Dean and one PPV9 Heyman.

Prior to the new year, the Massapequa TRU was usually very good. They haven't put out one new figure this year yet. I guess that's good news, since now they'll have to fill the shelves with all new cases...

You gotta be kidding. That KB had Adrenaline 16 in? When I went there last week, they had shit figures in. Dammit. I need MNM.
Also Chezi, like what >NtK< said, the other person was Kurt Angle. Come on, you cant forget about Kurt Angle!!!!! Also, >NtK<, have you ever been to a New York Sports Works Autograph Signing before? If so, I would like to hear how it turned out, because I went to the Cena one and it was horrible. I might go to this one though, to meet Kurt again.

Yep, I used to work at that one, and we always used to get a good amount of figures. Now half of oneside of the display where the WWE figures were has been taken over by Batman figures.

I've gone to a couple of signings there, actually. First one I went to was The Hurricane. I tried going to an Orton/Cena one, but the line was too long and I had to get to work. Last year, I went to a Torrie/London one.
As long as you get there early (Really early...the lines end up long), you'll be fine. The superstars don't really do much other than sign and take the pictures, though. It's a bit costly too.

I got to the Cena signing at about 11:30am, and it was a 2pm signing. There was a long line of people there, so I just waited there. It was funny to see people arriving at 2pm, thinking that they would be a good spot in the line, yet they were part of the line that just about went outside of the store. Also, as I was leaving, I saw more people coming to the Cena signing, and I had to laugh a little bit, considering that they dont know what there getting themselves into by going so late.
I'm also tempted to go the Angle signing. But I believe its on a Friday, correct? So just wondering, since many people are working, and kids are just getting out of school, wouldnt there be a much shorter line for this signing? I'm probably taking off of work on that day, and I plan to get there around 3pm or so. Boogeyman I wouldnt seeing. Its a shame that his figure wont be released in time. I guess I gotta settle for a photo. I already met Kurt, but hes my favorite wrestler, so I could met him over and over again. I just need things for him to sign. Looks like I gotta get a Replica Title soon.
BTW, the Super Bowl this year sucked

Has anyone heard anything about the Billy Graham promotion at their local TRU? From what I've seen, it seems like the LI TRU's are shrinking their wrestling section, not expanding it for a major promotion that will entail cases and cases of figures. That makes me a bit skeptical...

Yeah, all of the TRU's know nothing about it. JC called up the Huntington TRU on Friday, to see what they had there (6 Sig Gear JBL's btw) and he asked about the Billy Graham promotion, and they had no idea what he was talking about. I also have noticed that the figure sections seem to be shrinking also. I havent been to the Huntington TRU in a few weeks, but from what I remember, they have like 6 pegs for figs, and 5 shelves there, for the rings and stuff. Its getting ridiculous. I seriously have like no where to go for figs anymore. Maybe the KB in Smithtown or something, because everytime I go there, they have decent stuff. It also seems like the Carle Place TRU is the only one who is restocking. The Huntington TRU has barely restocked since last year in December. And when I went to the Massapequa TRU a few weeks ago, they had a few RA17, Ring Giants and that was it. There pegs were pretty much empty. Everytime I go to the Carle Place TRU, I usually find something there. Looks like the Carle Place TRU, Roosevelt Field Mall KB, and the Smithtown KB are gonna be my stores to go to from now on. Hopefully this Billy Graham promotion starts up soon. I still bet that the TRU's will have the promotion, and still not restock.

I still bet that the TRU's will have the promotion, and still not restock. As sad as this would make me, since I love SBG, I kind of feel like you're not too far off, and it would be funny in a really bad way. They'd have 4 cases of these sitting on the shelf looking awesome, with only a Simon Dean and RA 12 Biscoff, so you couldn't even get one free by purchasing that rubbish. That would be the ultimate irony, to see them on the shelves with no way of purchasing them... |
