yeah I saw that HF tag team for $100.. my buddy was going to get the HF 3 pack for $30 but some clown got it after we came back from lunch...
Greg is an ASSSHOLE! I have no RESPECT FOR THAT FAT NO TALENT WRESTLER!

Well another comic show come and gone. With this latest one done and over with, it leaves a bitter taste of disappointment. Now mind you, I haven't collected comics in 5 or 6 years, but these shows have always been MORE than your average comic con. The motor city as of late has been trying to bring some of the old school wrestlers to their shows, since Jakks came out with the classic series...... and yes I know Virgil has been around before that, but c-mon...... that guy would sign autos at a lemonade stand, if someone paid him enough...... So anyway.... 20 bucks for the show, and another 5 to park. 25 bucks for what? Well, there was a chance of seeing one of the all time greats. Hall of Famer Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. When I and my regular crew, including cwfpro got there, the first thing we did was make a B-line for the people signing autos..... To our dismay, he was nowhere in sight....... Virgil was there...... Virgil's always there. haha.... Later we found out, that he pulled a no-show, and stood up the people that had invited him to come...... not once but twice they said.... Now I realize that there is always two sides of the story, but its like I told cwfpro, and my dad, after he asked me how the show went....... Sometimes you meet someone you looked up to your whole life.... (Like when I met Hacksaw Jim Duggan last year.) He ended up being one of the most respectful men I have ever met. Went out of his way, to talk to us, made us feel welcomed, and put me on cloud nine for the rest of the show...... Then like Saturday, you go again, hoping to have the same expierence with the Hammer, as you did with the Hacksaw, and it turns out to be the total opposite.... He doesnt show.... Doesnt give the place a call, or notice. Nothing. I have Greg's shoot video, he did for a "indy" a while back.... He come across a very hateful person, and seemed very high on himself, like a certain "Warrior."....
Now I know its true....
Worst part is..... I didn't buy a damn thing..... The only thing I got was at the local Toys R Us.... The Wild Samoans and Bushwhackers.....

Yeah, I would put this year's Motor City Comic Con as the second worst I have ever been to. The worst was in 2002. Last year's was great. The wrestling show, Hacksaw, great vendors. This year's was bland. I am guessing they upped their prices to vendors, hence the subpar turnout. Why the hell else would they have wasted space with blow-up moonwalks? I was hoping that this con would be more like Wizard World since the Rock Financial building has more room than the Expo does. Instead, I had to pay more for admission for a smaller, lamer show than last year. I was very happy to meet George Lowe (voice of Space Ghost) and C. Martin Croker (voices of Zorak and Moltar) but that was about it. I would have loved to have met Adam West, but I didn't want to stand in line for 2 hours to pay money to take a picture with him. Not worth it. Not when I got pics with Lowe and Croker for free. Valentine would have been nice, but he was a dick to the company who hired him to show and to all his fans. I will still buy his CS figure, partly because it is top notch, and partly to job him on a regular basis.

I went to the comic con on saturday and I did not buy any
wrestling figs. There was not that big of a selection. My uncle did buy the champions 3 pack for $60. After the Comic Con my uncle and I went to the Novi Toys R Us and I bought CSTT4 Taker and Bearer ;D. It is an amazing set by the way.
Oh and By the way the Canton Walmart has The Wrestlemania 22 Dvd for $14.99 (you get a free rey mysterio dvd with the wm22 dvd) So you get two Dvds for $14.99 ;D
I bought the WM22 DVD ;D

Hey guys. Just to give everyone a heads up on the "Team Michigan" board here. I live really close to the Ohio border. So I'll be able to report the three Toys R Us stores in this area.... Now I know this is the Michigan board, but for those the live around Taylor, Monore, etc... its not that bad of a drive.... So, I will keep tabs on the Alexis, Monroe St, and Reynolds Toys R Us stores for us collecters. Theres also a couple Targets, Meijer, and K-marts(which ive had really good luck at.) I mainly collect the Classic series, so thats what I'll probably be reporting on the most. I'll be hitting all three this week, to see if CS series 10 is in yet. Until then my Michigan brothers!

sweet Beastie... anywho.. I went over to TRU in Southgate and only seen tons of Billy G's
but I did go to Walmarts in Taylor and got the WM 22 DVD w/ Rey DVD for only $20 not $14 damn.. but $20 is not bad... no wrestling figs...well nothing good to report.. later dudes

Wrestlemania 22 series 2 is hitting TRU's.
Ann Arbor TRU got them, but very few were left. They had 1 Batista and 2 Tomko/Conway's.

Well I hit the TRUs off of Alexis and I was a bit surprised... CS 10 isnt out yet, but they had alot more then they usually do... I may have found the truck day.... hmmmm?...
Heres the run down. CS 9 Bam Bam and Kamala, Slaughter & Mustafa(many), Hogan & Blassie (2), Undertaker & Paul (1)..... I picked up the Wrestlemania 22 Shawn Michaels where hes dressed like Hogan..... Been wanting to get that one for awhile.... fraid it was the only one though.....
The Rey Mysterio from Wrestlemania 22 series 1 is sweet looking... The photo on the box doesnt do it justice....

I went to Southgate TRU and they had tons of the CSTT 4 mainly sgt & Iron. But only one UT & PB and Hogan & CFB
no WM 2 packs #2's and no CS10... DAMN!

FOUND CS10 Target on 15 and gariot had rocky henning rhodes and sabu a frind and i got em all, they also had asorted cs9 including a hawk

Ann Arbor TRU had the Survivor Series line. They had 1 Cena, 1 referee Daivari, 1 Undertaker, 2 Ortons, 2 Angles, and 2 Batistas. I didn't buy anything.
