I took my kid out looking for the new Animal Crossing Lego sets and in the process found a bunch of stuff. We hit a lot of stores so I’ll skip any that had nothing worth mentioning.
Belleville Walmart - found a B-Fab and the Karrion Kross with hair, bought both for a friend.
Belleville Meijer - picked up the chase Carmelo Hayes for that friend. (I got one last week at Ann Arbor Target)
Canton Ford Rd Target - found Buddy Matthews (one I’ve been really wanting along with the rest of that set). Weirdly, I also found the regular Carmelo Hayes for the first time after finding two chases before. I asked an employee if she could check the back for more AEW figures. She returned with Brody King, ROH Punk and Penta (who I already have). I am super happy to find those in stores. I was getting worried that I’d have to pay ridiculous scalper prices.
Plymouth Walmart - Had 2 Commander Azeez and 4 Aliyah basics. Sadly I bought an Azeez of eBay for $15 thinking I had missed out on him, but I grabbed Aliyah.
I also got a bunch of clearance Lego sets : the $80 Black Panther 2 set with the big black ship for $24 at Ann Arbor Target and at the Canton Ford Rd Walmart I got the $35 Indiana Jones set with Sean Connery for $19.50 well as the $100 Avengers Quinjet for $60. So I’ve effectively spent my entire spending budget for this month on day 2.

I saw that the series had come to a local TJ Maxx, but of course Azeez wasn’t there anymore. That was probably part of my decision to get it off eBay. TJ Maxx usually gets leftovers, so I thought I had missed out finding it in regular retailers and didn’t want to try my luck at the inventory crapshoot of Maxx/Marshalls stores.

I went to like 5 Targets in the area that night and only found Brody at Canton MI Ave. Seriously been looking for Buddy at so many Targets in the area over the last week. Literally found everyone but him. Thought I scored when I went to the Woodhaven one and they had 2 Punks and a Penta on the floor, they checked and had 3 more in the back. I was like it’s the set, she’s gonna come back with Black, Buddy & Brody…..she came back with Black, Brody (both of which I bought)……and another Penta. So that case must not of had Buddy and had 2 Punk and 2 Penta. |

I was at Saline Walmart yesterday and they had another case of AEW Supreme CM Punk. Not much else of note. All those Punks are still there. Nothing new since last visit. Ypsi Target has zero AEW but main line Elites are on sale for $20.69 and they have Gargano, Dominik, and Scott Steiner. The WM Elites are there too. Anybody seen any sign of Unmatched 8 at Walmarts in SE MI? It’s tough when the whole set usually gets snatched up with no scraps to identify its having been present. And I’ve seen zero indication so far, though I know it has hit Wal in other states/regions. |

Found the WM Shipper at Grand Blanc Walmart
Grabbed WM Rock/Cena and MNW Hogan/Austin/Hall
There was a few E106, no Bearer, no MNW Undertaker, full set of WM Wave, and some Unmatched 8 in the main aisle
