Went to the Totally Rad Vintage Fest at Huntington Place in Detroit on Saturday. Pretty cool show, lots of random stuff, saw a lot of vintage wrestling shirts….crazy how much people want for those, time to start digging in my totes haha.
There were a lot of figures there, mostly loose. I seen a lot of LJN’s, Harbro’s, Mattel Elites & Basics, some Jakks and Toy Biz.
I ended up picking up a loose TNA Toy Biz James Mitchell w/his cane, a NJPW Great Muta, a Basic 62 Surfer Sting, and a Hasbro Talking Hulk Hogan.
All were in pretty good condition, just some paint marks on some of them that should come off and the Hogan’s pull cord still worked but the voice box is muddled.
Overall a pretty cool event with some decent scores.

Fenton Walmart has the shipper but no MNW. I did manage to get a Paul Bearer for a friend. When I left there were 2 of Perez left
Fenton Target - besides remnants of the Hogan wave of Legends and a bunch of AEW shelf warmers going back at least 2 years, nothing worth mentioning
Howell Walmart - no shipper, nothing new
Fowlerville Walmart - I thought this store might be my best chance to find the MNW wave, but no shipper. I did pick up the chase Grayson Waller though.

Southgate Walmart just put the Shipper out while I was there.
Top Picks - This shipper didn’t have ANY of the Cody/Logan Paul wave. The only Top Picks were Seth, Cena, and 1 Roman.
Elite 106 - Had everyone beside Jimmy…kinda weird. 3 Paul Bearer, no chases. 3 Perez.
WM Elites - 2 of everyone.
MNW - 2 Hall, 2 Taker, 2 Austin 4 Hogan’s.
I picked up a full set of MNW and a Bearer.

Flint Corunna Rd Walmsrt has the Tiffany Stratton basic wave, but no Tiffany or Ludwig
Flint Miller Rd. Target finally has WWE Figures again, 1 Undertaker Motorcycle and a few of GH3
Grand Blanc Walmart still has leftovers from the shipper, a few E106 Sami/Roxanne, some TP Cena/Rollins, a bunch of Reigns/Paul 2-Packs
Grabbed a ML Doc Ock from Target and The Hoopty Lego set from The Marvels

I forgot to report what I found yesterday in Jackson.
Airport Rd Meijer - old WWE and AEW stuff
Walmart - a thoroughly cleaned out shipper. Heartbreaking.
Target - some “Build-a-Nicholas” wave figures, some old AEW like Corazon Jericho. Nothing much
On my way home, I decided to stop at the Michigan Ave Meijer despite having found nothing good that trip. They had Unrivaled 14! Sadly no Swerve or Daddy @ss, but they had the rest. I picked up the Acclaimed and Toni Storm.
I totally did not expect to find Unrivaled 14, especially at a Meijer!

Hoping I can be as lucky as TeamFnKick and find a Brody Chase somewhere lol. Stopped at a couple stores tonight after seeing the new Ghostbusters film (it was a fun movie if you like GB) Target Allen Park - Handful of Legends Hogan & AEW Buddy & Standard Brody. They also had a few older AEW figs also. Walmart Taylor - Some of the new Basic Stratton wave, she was gone. A torn apart shipper, literally everything was gone besides 2 Roman’s, 2 Cena’s, & 2 Sami’s. |

Took a few days off from hunting after I found the Shipper at Southgate a few days ago when I posted. Ended up going back out over the weekend and today.
Saturday - My wife and I went to the Toy Show at the Taylor Trade Center and I picked up the Brody King Chase. I was happy to find that at a decent price. The guy had it marked up but he worked with me, happy to get that. That had some decent stuff at that show surprisingly.
Monday (tonight):
Target Dearborn - Elite Greatest Hits Piper, Beefcake, Rock, & Rollins. New Elite Top Picks Cody x 2 & Sheamus. Couple Legends Hogan’s and UE Warrior. AEW Unmatched Buddy & Penta x 2.
Walmart Dearborn - Ultimate Edition Roman & Undertaker, about 3 of each and a ransacked shipper. No MNW or Paul Bearer, had 2 Perez, and random amounts of everyone else, and all the 2 packs.
*If anyone is looking for some MNW Elites, I’m going to have a couple extra. My buddy who I got some for found them and doesn’t need them anymore, so I’m going to just end up returning them to the store unless someone needs them at cost or maybe even trade??? Let me know.

He’s gonna $hit his Ninja Turtle undies. I don’t let him watch much, but he’s into everything spooky and Halloween-ish, so he’s an enormous HoB fan. And Darby too of course. That’s going to backfire on me when he and the neighborhood buddies hit teenage years and he’s volunteering to take the big bumps when they wrestle. |

Yeah I’m a big HoB fan also, my wife and I are big into Halloween and Spooky stuff too. That’s awesome your little dude will be geeked for this figure, it’s what it’s all about man. There’s only been a few Chases I’ve really wanted, and he might have been on the top of list besides when Sting came out. But luckily I’ve came across a few different ones in the wild. The ones I’m mostly wanting now are Spears (I went to All Out when he wore that gear vs Cody) and the first 2 Cody ones…..even though I know I’ll never find that first one, or one that’s affordable haha. And I don’t mind sharing what I got Brody for. The guy had it marked over $100, it was later in the day and he worked with me and I got it for $75. I was happy with that as it’s really only $50 more than retail and I’ve spent enough gas money looking for him in the wild lol. And I’m thinking about selling off some of my other Chases anyway, so that will make up for the extra anyway. |
