FOR AUSSIE COLLECTORS, MORE BAD NEWS........Mattel HAVE RESORTED TO OUTWARDLY LYING TO US NOW.... I CONTACTED THEM FOR AN ANSWER TO THEIR SLACK SERVICE IN 2011.... THE RESPONSE HAD FLAWS FIT FOR A KING.....ONE SUCH CLASSIC STATEMENT WAS..... We only bring minimal amounts of each mix into Australia to ensure we protect the value of each mix for collectors TOTAL BS AS YOU CAN'T PROTECT THE VALUE OF A COLLECTION BY SKIPPING LINES AND SERIES....!!! IT MAKES IT INCOMPLETE AND LESS VALUABLE... We endeavor to bring new series to stores every few months. Over the past 5 months we have released the following new series: 2011 Signature Series Series 9 SO THEY CAN'T COUNT HUH?.....2 SERIES IN 5 MONTHS IS SIMPLY PATHETIC, THEY DESERVE TO LOSE THE LICENSE...!!! Likewise we have been releasing new Elite mixes every 2-3 months. MORE LIES, WE HAVEN'T RECIEVED NEW Elite SERIES SINCE 2010.... mate, stop hating and start ordering overseas. don't feel bad about it - it's cheaper and as long as local companies refuse to even try and compete, they deserve no loyalty.

I agree with nobly here who's I agree we should get some more figures and stores and shouldnt have to go overseas. But a number of the figures I have purchased lately were cheaper from overseas than purchasing locally anyway.

i'M one pissed of autistic australian. zambo i dont blame you for ranting about mattels bullcrap. We used to get figures coming out one a month or less and "2 to 3 months" thats bs. and this skipping bisness has to end with mattel. wwe switch back to jakks even if they have "Chocolate Sharkty detail" but they produced some of the best wwe figures in the past decade like one of my fave figures "Tribute to HBK". so mattel lies to us figure fans. they are even more passionate in those stupid "Monster High" figures than the kick butt wwe figures. this is just like intelivision all over again

wait. shuld we start buying from gfc and ringside???

MATE...THE BEST POSTAGE RATES TO OZ ARE FROM WWESHOP.....NO ONE BEATS THEM !
THEY DON'T STOCK EVERYTHING AND THEY TAKE A WHILE TO LIST FIGURE LINES BUTT IF YOUR PATIENT YOU CAN GET THE BEST DEALS....
I USED TO RACE IN AND BUY EVERY LINE JAKKS PUT OUT BUTT THERE WAS A FAR GREATER NUMBER OF FIGURE LINES EACH MONTH AND WAY MORE COLLECTORS FUELING THE INDUSTRY.
WITH Mattel I'VE SLOWED DOWN TO COLLECTLY MAINLY LOOSE AS A GOOSE AS I'VE FILLED THE WALLS IN 4 COMPLETE ROOMS WITH JAKKS MOC'S.....I'VE RUN OUTTA SPACE, THE FLOORS ARE ALSO FULL OF FIGURES STACKED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.....
I NEED THOSE DOEY HOSTS FROM Clean House TO ROB ME BLIND BY SELLING EVERYTHING FOR $1 EACH SO I CAN BE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING AGAIN....??

Also Target are still trying to get rid of there legends stock which are now $4.88

My Matt Hardy is fine.
And like Nathan, my Target has legends for $35. They won´t put them on clearance.

My Target had Legends 1 Dusty Rhodes on clearance for $4.84 so I bought it along with Extreme Rules 2011 DVD from JB HiFi. Was going to get Elite Jericho from Kmart but I'm still not keen on paying $20 for it just yet. Nothing else new to report really my local Game Traders has UFC Ultimate Collector figures and Toyworld got Rumblers and Rocky rings  I got Elite 9 coming from WWEShop! and I got a response like all of you from Mattel bout the line in Australia and they told me same thing the only new Chocolate Shark out here this year was Signature Series and Series 9 and Series 10 should be out in July and they don't control the Elite Series and they try to bring em in every 2 months but there full of it! Pretty annoyed actually! but I love ordering off WWEShop at the moment! New game looks good! can't wait for RAW in a few weeks! |
