Hey everyone,
I've been out of the collecting game about a year or so, but recently I've been getting back into it and I was surprised when I came back here and saw this thread, but I must say its pretty awesome. Just for your information I live in the Wollongong area in NSW and I have three Kmarts and 2 Toyworlds all within half an hour of driving, so I usually get a good idea of whats around. I've rambled enough, I'll get straight into it...
I went out yesterday afternoon and today and had the most frustrating hunting experience I've ever had.
Tuesday:
Toyworld - A fresh batch of GAB PPV figures (they had all of them) and most of CS9.
Shellharbour Kmart - an IC belt, a tag belt and a couple of CS9 Kings. The shelves were empty so I figured yeah they'll restock soon, hopefully with RA 19.
Warrawong Kmart - 2 RA 18 Batistas and ALL of CS 9. They will be warming that rack for weeks...
Figtree Kmart - about 6 or 7 CS8 Kings and 4 or so Vaders...and 1 RA 19 Rob Conway. So RA 19 were around I figured.
Wednesday:
Toyworld Wollongong - A giant Booker T, 3 RA 18.5 Batistas, a couple of the normal shelf warming CS 8s, an RA 15.5 Eric Bischoff & two RA 15.5 Simon Deans, Hassan and Davairi adrenaline, Tajiri and Regal adrenaline and a couple of La Resistance adrenaline packs.
Shellharbour Kmart - This pissed me off...empty shelves again except for 1 RA 19 Conway. So in the space of 24 hours, RA 19 had been stocked and totally raided...damn. Hopefully it gets re-stocked tomorrow.
So there you have it, I've got a pretty good source of stuff as both my Toyworlds are hobby shops as well, so as soon as something drops in Australia its in those stores pretty quick. I usually do a check on mondays, so if anything exciting hits that hasn't been posted on here I'll inform everyone.
Keep on the lookout for CS10 everyone, I'm so keen for it.

hey, i'll be in melbourne next weekend- can any melbournites let me know, which is the one best toys r us/toyworld/toy kindom etc that i should visit? i don't have a lot of free time, so i'll probably only get the chance to go to one, as well as go figure at armadale.
also, directions on trains or trams would be nice too, if at all possible.

Toys R Us have the following stuff on sale: TNA iMPACT! Series 1- Buy one get one free - $14.99 Faggy Face Flippin' Fighters - $19.99 save $5 Ring Giants Series 5 (The good Kurt Angle Lot) - $34.99 save $5 Super Spring Stunt Action Ring - $24.99 save $5. I might get that Kurt Angle, his singlet is awesome.  |

I work at Kmart and saw the catalogue for our big toy sale coming up. We're getting in the Wrestlemania packs with the masks (Hurricane with kids size mask, Rey with mask, Cena with chain gang spinning pendant), as well as Wrestlemania 21 single figures, real sound arena, and an entrance way, I think it was Wrestlemania 21. Thats all I can remember, but yeah, just a heads up. I saw the mask packs today, but all of it will be on special come July 6.

ahhh damn it... the annual kmart toysale, featuring a heap of wwe stuff on sale. i remember having to catch a bus to my kmart last year to be there. was there at 7.40 for the 8am opening. there were about 100 people outside- but it was the toysale, so i didn't think this was bizarre, and wasn't worried. i should've been been. i reckon of the 100 people who charged in, at least a 3rd went straight for the wrestling stuff. every single tshirt, beach towel and figure (apart from the normal shelfwarmers that had been there for months anyway) was off the shelf by 8.05. being the idiot that i am, and not knowing anything about rainchecks, i headed straight for the dvds to get summerslam- they didn't have it, i got a raincheck, and by the time i got to look for other stuff, everything was gone...
thanks for the info xpac- u mentioned u'd seen the catalogue... do u remember how much these figure packs cost? if only the hurricane mask would fit over my fat, adult sized head!

we have had both RA19 and CS10 in Melbourne. we also just got AD18 in today *i dont think it was mentioned* wel yeah i got my sabu today and layby'd the lashley and orlando. cant wait ot get it, going to northland tomorrow. i wont be suprised if they have TNA series 2 and AD17 and 18 hey get everything at Northland TRU. any of you guys got MSN post your addy's so we can talk on msn jaxlee999@hotmail.com plus the guy that did my xbox chip is in Phoenix US and he is bringing me back AD18 or 17 matt and edge and DA2 rey and hopefully DA2 Carlito, Taker and Edge. yeah forgot, that guy came back at the start of the week and i got my figs here's what i got: AD: 17 matt 17 edge RA: 19 rey 19 beniot WM22 single packs: 1 Beniot pretty good figs IMO. what do you think? |
