I'm simply amazed at all of the members on here who have no respect for Andy Kaufman being signed. This is quite possibly the greatest signing news of the year.
Before Hulk Hogan, there was someone else helping put wrestling on the map. This person was Andy Kaufman.. Andy Kaufman made Jerry Lawler as popular as he is today, and he also made Memphis wrestling as legendary as it is today.
I have a feeling that most of the people, if not all, don't care about this signing because they grew up in a generation where Andy Kaufman didn't cause trouble. Also, that would mean that you're missing out on one of the most entertaining personalities in the history of wrestling and entertainment. For those of you who don't know who he is, let me direct you to some videos:
(watch this one first)
Also, you MUST watch man on the moon. For the most part of what I know, the movie was almost completely accurate. It covers his life, relationships, the commotion he was always causing, and the wrestling aspects of his life. I thought all real wrestling fans had seen that movie already, but some of you may have still been in diapers when it came out...in 1999 ..(If this is the case, you have no right to complain about this signing)
I guess to my point, don't complain about Andy Kaufman. If it was up to me, we would have had him already..Way before the Tank Abotts, the 13 Classic HBKs, the Classic TTL 'Takers, or the Brooklyn Brawlers (Though I know he is important for jobbing). The line of figures is called CLASSIC SUPERSTARS. Trust me, we all understand and agree that a signing of Sting, Bossman, Owen, or Savage would be great. However, Andy Kaufman is just as classic (if not more) than some of those people that you've been waiting on. I am sure I've missed some important points, so if you can think of any other reasons why people should quit complaining about the new signing, add on.
Thanks for reading.
