Art, they left off Jacqueline and I'm very upset, lol, especially with people like Nicole Bass and freakin Kimona on there, even Jazz and Stacy. She had a very big run outside of E as well. Also no Bertha Faye, Jumping Bomb Angels, Leilani Kai, Judy Martin, Velvet. etc. True classics. Jakks better not see this list and think Ringside listed everyone and will dictate this line. I dont even get why some like Jeff Jarrett were put on there, we know that will never happen. Bertha Faye was Bull Nakato, right? I do agree that Leilani Kai should've been listed, and Jacqueline should've as well (although I thought I saw her up there). And to be honest.. I'd buy Nicole Bass or Kimona before Judy Martin or the Jumping Bomb Angels, simply because I could find an easier use for them in angles in a figure federation (and would have a better grouping of people to display them with if I were a MOC collector). Some of the other people you mentioned were fairly limited in the interactions they had with wrestlers and characters outside a select few, hence they aren't as "marketable"... if that makes any sense. As far as Jarrett goes.. you should know by now to never say never. You have no idea what sorts of deals could be reached if all parties (WWE, TNA, ToyBiz, Jakks, and Jarrett himself) were to agree. I don't get why Nailz was up though, I can't see Vince authorizing that signing... |

They wanna know where to put the people they've signed. Release them by themselves, in a tag pack, or a triple pack? Retail or exclusive? Brick and mortar exclusive or online? Market research, plain and simple... |

Ringside even listed Missy, when WWE has already said no to her. She said herself Jakks tried and WWE wont allow it. There were a bunch of others not on there too I noticed, I dont remember seeing: RTC Max Mini Fuzzy Cupid Gerald Brisco (saw Pat solo) Stooges Justin Hawk Bradsahw Zebikaya TL Hopper So thats part of why I think Ringside should have run the list by us first, but I wouldnt expect that from them with their track record. |

Okay, I can see where you're coming from with Bradshaw, Jacqueline, Bertha Faye (well, I completely understand Bertha, seeing as I want a figure of her too) and maybe TL Hopper and RTC, but don't you think you're being a little hard on them? The list had 270 wrestlers, I think it was damn near complete. Sure, we didn't need Nicole Bass listed, but who is complaining? Just put a 1 on her and move on. Ringside didn't need to do this survey, or any if the chats, but they still do. Do they let us down? Sure, but if Jakks and Ringside's records mean anything, they at least try to appeal to everyone on here. If the CS line doesn't have Max Mini in it, I'll somehow find a way to sleep at night. Now then, if a guy like Eddie Gilbert isn't signed, I'm bustin' skulls. |

Wouldn't you have to show up to be scanned and stuff to get your own figure? Are they going to pay for your airfare to and from their headquarters? If not, the contest is stupid..which is probably what they were aiming for. Id assume like they do for some guys, scan a picture of you? Curious though, WHO MADE THIS LIST? Jakks or ringside? I've assumed Ringside, as it looks like they did it. And I dont like to be so negative, but we've had these kinds of things before from Ringside and people voted, did this, did that and then it vanished and was never heard from again and no one ever got any figures. The Moolah/Warrior contest anyone? 2h chat? bringing their A-game? Ah, how we forget..... Exactly what I was thinking tbh. They could just say they had a grand winner, and we'd never know. Unless we collectively rounded up every person who entered and asked them if they won, there's no way of proving it. I dunno..I just highly doubt anybody will be getting their own figure. which is why I'd rather win the Outsiders pack. |
