Just saw a similar thread in the video games threead, but anyways, who here works at KB/Toys R Us? I was thinking of working there since KBs only a couple streets down. What are the discounts/benefits of working at these stores?
Also, whats the difference between KB Toys and KB Toys WORKS? The regular KB is at the mall near me, but the WORKS one is closer.

KB gives you a 30% discount. I'm pretty sure that TRU only gives you 10%.
KB Toys are generally in indoor malls. KB Toy Works are generally larger and are located in strip malls. Toy Works carry alot of different products than the mall stores do.

KB Toy Works tends to get the stuff that other stores didn't want or couldn't sell. Usually the first run merchandise goes to the regular KBs first.

I've considered maybe applying at either a KB Toys or TRU too. If you really want to know some of the employee discounts, just go into your store and ask someone who works there and you know has worked there for a while. They might be nice enough to talk to you about it and tell you how they like working there and all. I know personally I've talked to many employees about benefits and overall happiness at different jobs and you will be surprised at some of the answers (I've had employees encourage me to shop elsewhere because they hate their job so much).
