No, it's how WWE and the superstars want there figures to look like. The superstars and WWE have to approve how their figures will look. It isn't a matter of Jakks getting photoshopped figures, it's a matter of how defined the superstar and WWE want them to look.

Have you ever seen a body builder in all those competitions, and how ridiculously muscular they look? Well guess what, when they get up in the morning to make breakfast or go out to get the mail, they don't appear that ripped.

The way the human body works, is that you can appear more muscular at times if you really flex yourself and pose correctly, as opposed to when you are just standing about at rest. So Kane in a posed PPV poster (and yeah of course it's air-brush 'enhanced' to just look cooler... the same thing is done to every movie poster and advertisement you see too. No big deal.) compared to Kane just standing there... are definitely gonna look different. It's not 'incorrect' when Jakks makes the figures more muscular.

Go have a look at all the photos of Kane on WWE.com, he looks more ripped in some than others. Especially posed promotional photos as opposed to 'just sanding about' shots. It's like saying that WWE Diva's don't really look like they do on TV because they have make-up and their hair done when they're on TV. Yes, your appearance can be altered when you make a conscious effort. Neither appearance is 'false'.

I'd personally prefer my figures to look like my favorite WWE superstars at their best. I don't want Unmatched Fury figures of Kane standing about, posing for a photo with a fan. I don't want an RA figure of Candice when she gets out of bed first thing in the morning.

Besides, while perhaps not always 100% correct, the figures do look cooler if Jakks gives them more defined muscles than they may appear to have when standing 'at rest'. Most of the torso's Jakks use these days aren't over the top for the person they give them to. Jakks would be making a conscious effort to make the figures look as exciting and larger-than-life as they do, because it just looks better that way. There's no WWE conspiracy at play.

While I agree Jakks have needed some new torso sculpts for a while, that's just because Jakks is famously lazy with that sort of thing. There's more than 5 identical body types in WWE. However the torso's used are usually suitable for some of the roster... just not all of them.

^dude Jakks has way more than 5 torso's, especially for UMF they make specific ones for every fig, heres the RA list

Who cares? His umf looks great. Sorry it didnt include a spare tire. If you dont like it.. dont buy it. Simple as that. How long is everyone going to piss n moan about some stupid torso issue. No fig is perfect. Nor will there ever be one that is.

There's also the Kane torso (RA5), the D-Von torso (AD8, et al., plus ECW1 Sandman), the Big Show torso (RA15), and the Lawler Torso (CS8).
