I contacted him about buying the R&B set and he told me shipping to Ireland would be $70-$90 and i contacted him saying no way and he told me i was right and it would actually be $40-$60 so i just stopped replying at that stage.

I think it's pathetic how many people are once again so blinded by HTM's jumpsuit that they think the 3 pack looks "sick" or "awesome" when infact two of the figures couldn't really be any worse or less accurate. Jakks makes so much money from people not looking at stuff properly before they buy it, that R&B set is basically ONE FIGURE, the other two are useless and are only there so the HTM figure can sell for more money. That isn't a Rhythm And Blues 3 pack it's just a con, a very expensive jumpsuit for a figure we already have.

The rocky set is pretty good, nice to finally see some NEW figures in 3-packs, but the rock figure is very plain. They should have given him a new headscan.
Rhythm & Blues - YET MORE repaints in 3-packs... doesn't interest me...

I just realized Rock still has wrist tape. Easy fix but funny that every RA ring gear Rock has it, but he's never worn it

Rhythm & Blues - YET MORE repaints in 3-packs... doesn't interest me... I don't know why repaints bother so many people. I mean, it's not like they wore one attire through-out their careers. I for one, like repaints because if it's not the one I remember a specific wrestler wearing, there's always a chance Jakks will make them again under a different attire. I hope we get another Honky Tonk Man down the line in a bright red jumpsuit. I remember Honky most in either the red jumpsuit or the blue jumpsuit. Bottom line, repaints are not nearly as bad as people make them out to be. Sure, instead of repaints they can have different superstars and such, but why not make the most out of a great signing and get as many figures out of one person as they can while they can?? |
