As we are all probably already aware, Chris Benoit has been pulled from everything WWE. We won't see any more of his figures for a long while. My question is, how does this effect the DA chair? You know, since his BOWCW scan is in it.
It's kind of weird for me for two reasons, and that's why I ask.
I can play with figures of dead guys no problem-- Andre vs. Yoko brings down the house every time-- but maybe it's just still too soon with Benoit's death and I feel like he's trapped in there like some kind of ghost head and it's a little creepy.
Also, um, his head scan is inside of a chair. Chairs lead to chair shots... Chair shots lead to concussions... Concussions lead to brain damage... And well, you get the idea. So isn't it also kind of in poor taste just because, you know...
Has anyone heard anything or has anything been stated anywhere about the DA chair being changed in any way?

No, I havn't heard of anyhting about them changing it. But I strongly agree with evrything you said, I never thought of this.

the whole idea of the chair was stupid in the first place
you cant smack someone with a metal chair and leave their face print in it.
I could understand a dent in the chair but a faceprint is so intellectually- disabled
maybe you can just throw away the chair if you feel strongly about it
I would never use them anyway

No, and I doubt it will, but this reminds me of the old BCA Al Snow figures being taken off shelves because Head was seen as a decapitated female head pleading for help, or something like that.  |

I fail to see the comparison. Al Snow never caused Head to go crazy and kill her family. Wait... Head is a girl, right? Besides, WWE is removing every trace of Chris Benoit. They weren't trying to wipe Al Snow or Head off the grid at that point. Your idea would make sense if I said I was offended by those monster trucks because I think they're stupid, but this honestly is not nearly the same. It's not like "Ohhh, I'm offended by a head", it's more like WWE is erasing Chris Benoit from history and I'm wondering if they're going to overlook this one creepy little aspect. |

It doesn't effect it. It's still in there from what I've seen. And speaking of Benoit I think TRU has gotten lazy on that policy as I saw 2 or 3 the last WM figure this weekend at the Woodbridge NJ TRU.

I feel the same way you do about playing with his fig just after his recent death. I mean I love Benoit but in my fed there dead I guess i dont play with them any more because it feels so unreleastic to me. R.I.P. Chris benoit
