Thanks guys  where did you get the painted belts? you do them yourself they look class Yeah i painted them myself. Its pretty easy. just requires a lot of patience. I did all of the belts. And thank you for the compliment. That's the best arena set-up i've ever seen, great job I wouldn't go that far, but its tremendously appreciated. work on the "lighting" like maybe some colored lights like what WWE uses when its all dim and the superstars make their entrance. I really want to do something like that. I want to try and get it elevated up onto a table or something along those lines before i do anything too technical. I have been considering making a custom RAW titantron. But i would be mega pissed if Jakks released a real scale one then. So I'll just wait out for a while before i do anything too in-depth. We really need to finish off the arena display with Lilian The Fink, Michael Cole & a current referee. Hopefully JAKKS won't take too many more years to create them! Fixed your comment  How long did it take you to put all of this together?? A couple of hours overall. But its there permanently. it doesnt get put away or anything. that entire room is dedicated to wrestling stuff. I'll probably photograph it some time and post it. It's a great setup. I'm in the process of making my own arena, stay tuned for it. Can't wait. I love seeing other arena set ups. you need an audience ie random non-wrestler figures in the seats I know, but its just not really a priority at the moment. I will probably pick up a few other style figures around the place cheap sometime. That answers all of them  Any other questions, i'd be happy to answer them Take care y'all |

I have been planning a grand-scale arena, much like yours for a long time. I just need cam boxes, the tripod cameras and lights, and some camera men.
The only thing I can suggest is maybe put up a scaffold with lighting and work on getting a larger crowd setup. A custom Raw set would be great, as well.
Really, I love when users like you post these things. It's really hard to find; attention to detail like the camera men, the ringmats, the MVA barricades, the announce tables, the equipment boxes by the ramps, just everything. It's what I envision once my arena is complete.
Oh, and I'd recommend a JR and a current King, instead of the classic version. Just to polish it off.

Yeah getting some of the little things sorted can be a nuisance. But its well worth it when its done. i still want to get some more stuff, but i am happy with it at the moment. I actually highly suggest mooching through the classifieds every now and again for these little things. people that say they are selling off their accessories and similar stuff usually have a ton of accessories that they just dont list. PM'ing a guy and asking does he have any accessories he doesnt want seen as he is no longer collecting is a great idea. Its easy to get lots of stuff for a decent price. As for current day commentators. well, i have the TTL Lawler and JR, but i only want to use RA when possible. Apparently JR is planned for CS and lawler often wrestles on RAW so he commentates in his ring gear sometimes. all i need is a decent jacket to put on him or something along those lines to cover up the singlet. I can live with coach at the desk for the moment anyway.  I would like to have a Michael Cole at ringside. Thanks for the detailed comment. |
