Well you have to think of it like this: for all they know you could already have had that figure.
So no, they should not have done that without your consent. How can they "sell out" of something you've already paid for? If you've paid for it there should be one reserved for you.
If they are a professional company then they will refund your money and let you keep that crappy Flair anyway, that's what a reputable seller would do (Troy on eBay has done this for me many times). You shouldn't have to go to the trouble of posting it back to them at your own cost.
Tell them you just want what you damn-well ordered. You upheld your part of the bargain, it's time for them to honour theirs.

The Royal Rumble Flair is a nice fig to have, but you should definaely have had the option of turning it down. Even more crappy is how they still have the set listed on the site, INCLUDING RA20 Flair. BS if you as me . . .

I ordered ( my mom) a vince mask for halloween last year, we had just moved a few months back and still had different billing and shipping addy's so we filled out the 2 different ones. Of coruse it never showed up here because they sent to it the billing one. When my mom called to figure what happend they ended up getting in a cussing match. They did give her the money back though. I probaly would buy from them again though because they have pretty good prices , nice products and because we have it all switched to this addy. LOL

screw that, call up and complain or send that **** back, cancel it on your credit card You can't cancel it on your card after the fact like that. They'd have to issue a refund.

Double check your invoice.
They did it to me once (subbed a BCA Test for TTL5 Test), but they didn't charge me for the figure they didn't have.

When RA 2 came out I ordered a Steiner and Dreamer figure from them. They ended up sending me a Rico and Noble. When I called them up they told me it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they would do about it. If I wanted the figures I originally ordered I would have to reorder them. After that I have never bought anything from them again.

It's not acceptable, since it simply NOT the figure you ordered or paid for. Exactly. Its like going to the hospital when youre having a surgery and you get put under...You wake up and they tell you "Sorry, we didn't have a foot surgeon on call so we gave you breast implants." I DIDNT ASK FOR BREAST IMPLANTS!!!!!!!!!

No one is scared of the BBB anymore. Especially online. How many of you went to BBB site before EVER ordering online somewhere? Nobody does any research before buying anything online. Never.

Never. how is their up my fault? How am I supposed to research the fact that they would replace my figure unknowingly?

At the end of the day, they don't have a leg to stand on, man.
1. They should never have sold-out of a figure that you've already paid for, they should have one reserved for you, so they f***ed up there right from the get-go.
2. They shouldn't just bung in another figure in its place and assume you don't already have it, they should have contacted you and said they have none left and asked whether you wanted an exchange or a refund.
Trust me, you are covered by law here, anybody can see that. You didn't get what you paid for. The RR '02 Flair is a different product with a different barcode. They even wrote on the invoice that they substituted the Flair, so you have proof of their cheap stunt. If they were planning to get away with this, they screwed themselves by writing that on the invoice.
