till i saw that TTL13 fig i thought they all were crap... no offend, but those ttls arent even that good... but if you are about to resell it you will propbly doble or teiple your money+get some figs to kep  |

So when are you going to go and scalp it on ebay? How is buying someone's collection and reselling it scalping? What a lot of worthless garbage, good luck selling them for a profit. Who wants that stuff really? I wouldnt honestly give $4 for the lot. I have said it before, it's some kind of obsession in your head man to collect piles of sh*t like this and watch it collect dust. Do you still have those 200 Treacherous Trios sets you ordered off TRU still sitting in moms living room?  ? No little kid could get a single one. This isnt a living or business I hate to tell you. Your still in moms house, I mean that's proof. Yeah, I wouldn't have even touched that lot at that price. I would have done $150 at the most. |

It's your money, so you're entitled to do what you want with it, but most of those Stone Cold's won't sell for much at all. I like buying the occasional lot to either keep or re-sell, but never by shelling out $400. That, to me, just seems like a lot of money spent for a lot of hard work selling it and in return you only make a small profit, or none at all.  |

If he likes what he bought it's 100% worth it. Anyone slagging this guy off needs to get a life and a passion, because he's happy with what he bought and he knows what he likes.

Well, 'm pretty sure I read a post where he said the only reason he bought it is to resell it to make a buck...so yeah if the only reason he bought it is to resell it then that's not collecting that's scalping. But at the end of the day I really don't care what he does with it as I don't want any of it nor do I ever buy figures off ebay unless I can get it for mass retail prices or less. |

So what if this guy buys a lot of stuff to resell? its called making money. What does it matter to you if he bought this to resell? its the way the world works kids, Toys R Us buys the figures from Jakks to RESELL. Same with Wal Mart, KB, etc. Its the way everything works.
Its not even like he went to TRU and bought all of the latest series to resell (which is perfectly fine if thats what you want to do with your money IMO). He bought old stuff, im fairly certain none of you were robbed of getting thanks to his purchase.
If this guy buying a lot of stone cold stuff bothers you, than well. You need a life

Who cares if the guy makes a buck....or looses a buck for that matter. He chose to shell out $400 for some ttl's. I doubt any of the people on here bitching about it would have paid that much. The guy's trying to make a few bucks and he's doing it a legal way, I commend him for trying to do it honestly. I kinda doubt he'll get his $400 back, especially selling them at a flea market. I did a flea market a while ago w/ some friends, I sold a few old ttl's moc for $1 & $2 each, a lot of them didn't even sell at that, and there were some decent ones. I just wanted to get rid of some that I no longer wanted so I didn't mind. Get off the guy, he plans to sell them for less than TRU or Wal-Mart, so he's not one of those people trying to make a killing, even if he was, so what? We all should be bitching about KB & Wal-Mart's $9.50 gouge job before we cry about this guy. |
