So, I don't have a car so whenever I go fig hunting I have to lug around the bag. I get sick of carrying it so I rip open the fig, shove it my pocket and throw the bag/package away. Anyone else do this?

I've actually done that a couple of times but only for RA and AD figs I intend to open up anyway. But not for CS.

I have a car so I don't have that problem but I do take the figures out before I get home. It's just easier to transport.

Ehh it depends.. sometimes If i know ahead of time that I am going to open the fig then I will after I get it in the car. But otherwise I am mostly a moc collector if its cs. It all depends.

I usually open the figure in the store parking lot this way if there's something wrong with the figure that I didn't notice when I bought it I don't have to drive back to the store to replace it. So far it has saved me 3 trips back to Target. One time for the Eddie in the AD set with JBL. Eddie's head was broken off. The stem was snapped in two. Another time it was a Mattel DCSH Series 1 Batman his left arm was stuck and snapped off when I went to move it. And the 3rd time was a ML series 1 Captain America (Broken ankle)

Well I have a car, so not that. However, I collect loose so I often rip open packages in my driveway and throw them out so to not bring more junk into the house. The Mrs. prefers it that way.
