Age has nothing to do with collecting. Honestly you're at an age where you feel insecure about it. Thinking people will think your "childish" or "immature" because you collect/play with "toys". I stopped my freshman year in HS, then again when i was 18...Im 24 now and I picked back up when i was 22. You'll be back That's what I did too. I'm 22 now and have a huge collection. BTW G-Money, your girlfriend is smokin'. |

Well it is apparent that my parents want me to stop collecting  Hell my dad thinks i am too old to watch wrestling... Tell your parents your gonna knock up a 14yo girl in your class. Then when your done tell them your gonna smoke pot and get high and share a line of coke with her. Afterwards when yall are soo F'd up you gonna go out and rob a store.......When they ask why just tell them "Hey its either do what the other kids do or play with wrestling figures, Your choice" |

I'm 21 now. I used to play with my figs until I was about 16. Then I quit collecting altogether. Then for Christmas one year I recieved RA 6 Goldberg and HHH. That set it off once again -- I now have a pretty sizable MOC collection. I also customize figures. There's no "age" that determines when you're to stop collecting. Keep collecting man, it's the best decision I made because if you're not doing what you love, what's the point? Do what you love for you, don't stop because you're afraid of what people will think. I have a girlfriend who loves me and I know a lot of other guys here have girlfriends and wives as well. Keep going man, you won't regret it.

I stopped when I was in high school, then we had a garage sale, and my mom convinced me to sell my AWA figures to help pay for a car, while I was away she sold them for a quarter each and threw in the ring. I had pretty much all with most accessories, accept the Rockers and Jumping Jim Brunzel. I bought my childhood house at age 25 and then started again. Now my collection is way too big to fit in my childhood room so it has been moved to the basement. My point is if you truly love wrestling, you'll be back.

Well there is no age limit. I started collecting back during hasbros, and got out of it around the time TTL ended. I than restarted last year at age 19, with buying RA24 when I realized there was life after playing with them.
I have just as much fun displaying them as I did playing, so even if you outgrow playing theres still good things about collecting.
So you may be back one day when your more concerned with doing what you like and realize that the idea of "cool" really isn't defined about whether u buy figures or not.

It isn't funny and you never were. I stopped collecting when I was younger because I didn't like R3s and the shops never had anyone I wanted. That all changed when I got CS2 Dude Love which pretty much cemented me in collecting again. My parents often give me a hard time about it but I just point out to them that I know people who take drugs and would they prefer I was one of them. |

Yes i am 14 years of age almost 15 and know it is time to stop collecting as i am getting a little too old, I Will obviously still be active on this forum and take a look at the main site just to see whats going on and since there is no point in making a pointless topic like this, lets alter the thread a little. If you have already, When did you stop collecting and what was your last figs. Mine as Haas and Benjamin  Dude you may say that your done, but your never done. I said i was done, Even sold some of my collection...right around your age to, But i stayed around checked out the sites and BAM got back into it. You'll be back |
